Probably trying to find new material. Not that there ever is any. Same bullet points anytime someone says they had fun during their visit.

Best to avoid early, probably time your visit after 3pm as most of the guys drift in between 1.30pm and 2.30pm.

Misinformation from TBL again. This park is not one block from Stock Bar. It is next to the Berri-UQAM Metro(Check out a map) which is 4-5 blocks from Stock/Campus (depending on where in the park it took place). This incident had nothing to do with the strip clubs in The Village. You need to be more factual with your posts. BTW, when is your next trip to Montreal?

More into college type guys so my list is skewed that way....

    #1: Taboo in Montreal
    #2: LeBoy in Fort Lauderdale
    #3: Johnsons In Fort Lauderdale

BJ Rooster's in Atlanta is a close runner up. Johnsons has so many things I like about it over LeBoy... but I'm just not as much into the beefy guys.

A fun twist to this poll would be, what 3 clubs do you wish were still around? For me it'd be...

#1: Johnnys / Ft Lauderdale - LeBoy doesn't have the same fun vibe Johnnys had. Johnny's was the wild west. Sean has lost it with LeBoy. He tried too hard to copy the bars that failed. Odd logic isn't it?

#2: Adonis / Montreal - Went through several name changes after it closed. But I was fortunate to go a few times before it went under.

#3: Lux / Montreal - it was always a wild card - some nights were a dud, but if you found a diamond in the rough, it was a fun night.

Another stellar post! Thanks for the update! Drink prices were down at LeBoy on my last visit. Is Sean getting realistic? I've been spending more time the last few visits to Ft Laud at Johnson's even though most of the guys aren't my type. This may swing the pendulum a bit.

Fantastic post. I wish my memory was as good as yours. I only ended up doing one visit to Montreal earlier this year. I think I know the boxer you mentioned. I liked him too... such a carefree fun guy. Great body.

I feel ya man. It's a great place. Drink prices are reasonable. It's comfortable. Staff is solid. But yeah the beefy guys aren't so much my type either. You can tell they do make an effort to appease us, but I've never seen more than 2 or 3 on a given night that I'd swipe right on Tinder on. I get the preference for gay. I'm actually the other way around. I like having fun with straight guys for the fantasy aspect of it I guess. The thing I like about the clubs is finding a guy I wouldn't be able to be able t0 have fun with in real life. When I find a cute but a little tough lean straight guy, money tends to fly out of my wallet.

By the way, may I say HELL YES to Mike81's comment about the air freshener at Johnsons. I'm not normally one of those overly sensitive to smell. But holy hell the scent is overwhelming before the door even opens. It's a great idea to get that upscale vibe with scent, but for the love of nostrils, turn that shit down lol. It's nauseating.

Hello all. Visiting w/ some friends this week. No big changes since previous a visit earlier this year except that Johnsons is far busier. Boardwalk is awkwardly quiet, but our visits were early in the night. LeBoy was packed Friday night. Not so much Saturday night. As usual about 2 or 3 standouts and a lot of "no thanks." Only change I've noticed at LB is the drink prices .. $6. Johnsons success may be forcing them to get realistic. I'm not into big muscle so most of the Johnsons dancers don't do it for me, but they do have 4 or 5 guys for twink fans. But only 2 of them were stunners.

The DJs aren't as annoying to me as the drag queens are. The most irritating thing is when they think their mundane "private" conversation with someone is worthy of them using the mic thinking we all are hanging on every word. LeBoy is the biggest offender on this one.

As for music, I've often wondered why they don't realize the music should appeal to the customer not the dancers. The 70 somethings in the crowd probably aren't the biggest Nikki Minaj fans. The guy at Johnsons in Fort Lauderdale seems to get that at least a little. He varies it up.

I've always believed that the strip clubs in Montreal and Fort Lauderdale should recognize reality and provide tissues and wastebaskets in the lap dance rooms. 'nuf said.

Not all have the same taste tasso. But yeah if you like 'em muscular, Johnsons is hands down the new leader in FTL. I'm just not into the beefy gym bunnies this Easter. I like 'em thin as a carrot.

I wonder if it would be smart business to have nights for my type? I know most on this board and probably most customers overall aren't as into twinks. Maybe Sunday nights or Thursday nights. If he was to have a 50/50 mix every night, I'm sure it wouldn't be the positive it sounds like it'd be. Not many like both types. Stock and Taboo have their specific clientele and it's no different in Ft Lauderdale. But seems like he's tried to keep a good mix at Johnson's. While it sounds good on paper, most instantly will be turned off by half the dancers. So I don't fault the guy for overloading the roster last night with muscular dudes. I'm sure they bring in way more business. But if one night a week was given for those of us who like college age guys, maybe that'd do well.

But back to your point about prices and overall experience, hands down, Johnsons wins. LeBoy only gets my (limited) business since they have the monopoly on that type.

Visited again this week. Things have changed. It cost more to get in: $15 on a Monday. Drinks are now $11.75. And now you gotta buy “Dick Bucks” for lap dances for $24 a pop. 20 to dancer 4 to house. The atmosphere is different among the dancers. Still had a good time though as I met some other cool patrons. But the new rules/prices were enough to stop me from going again last night as I normally would have.

You're not alone Ichabod. 3 friends of mine are there and they were saying the same thing. They dug Adonis saying there were some diamonds in the rough ... as well as just plain rough guys.

They said you could barely get a seat Saturday at Taboo it was so busy and there were a half dozen dancers worthy of a private. Weeknights are never going to be a big thing.

They're twink fans so they don't do Campus and Stock. Looking forward to my trip in a few weeks. I don't pay much attention to the incessant doom and gloom stuff on here. A loaf of bread isn't 10 cents anymore. Times change. But while strip clubs still exist, it'll be worth a trip.

Definitely not a LeBoy guy Until recently all of their posts were stock images like that from who knows where. Seems that if it's an actual dancer, they'll caption it as such. This looked to be just a generic hey it's Sunday, isn't this guy hot kind of post.

If that's your type, stick to Boardwalk and Johnsons. You'll be miserable at LeBoy.

It appears as if the situation has been rectified . According to the Facebook page of Mayor Dean Trantalis , all licenses have been renewed and the bars will be able to stay open past midnight. They will work with each business to work out issues . That sounds like the logical solution .

I'm sure they're not looking to spend money, but I'm sure the dancers take better selfies for Grindr. Hell use those. Those clubs don't realize there's a magic to making each dancer special. When you put them in all the same lighting doing the same uninterested pose wearing the same thing... it's monotony.
