Ok. As a former escort, I feel I can weigh in here I met my husband of when he hired me 20 years ago.:) I was absolutely not looking for a love connection, but when it happens it happens. We stayed professional for about 6 months before I just said fuck it and started seeing him socially. It absolutely can work. As long as there is NO power dynamic. You have to always consider each other as equals or it's not gonna work. Hope this helps

Yeah I've had a few similar experiences. One guy had actually become a really good friend, and I just stopped hearing from him. Of course we didn't share many friends in common, so it was a shock when I eventually heard that he had passed. I often wish I could have said a proper goodbye.

I've stayed in touch with a few of my former clients. It's hard not to become friends with people you share so much of yourself with. But there are some that I lost touch with that would be nice to connect with again.
