There seems to be an unspoken working assumption here among some that escorts speak unquestionable gospel and clients always seek to deceive. So that’s likely behind the disconnect…

@Jamie21, normally I say upfront with a potential new hire that eventually I’ll want a telephone call before settling on a booking. That said, I will not hire an escort I text who calls me without agreeing to do so. I’ve had several potential escorts uninvited just call during a text exchange. Akin to the train, I’m not always in a place to take a call. Furthermore, in today’s world, it’s pretty common to ask if it’s okay to call if you’re in the middle of a text exchange. So I’ll just dismiss a potential hire if he keeps calling when I tell him I can’t talk in the moment.

@Emir, I’d move on since the head is clearly cut off. And it’s probably cut off because those verified pictures aren’t even his, if he’s real at all. I had one guy, early in my dabbling stage, tell me the pictures he posted looked like him although they weren’t him. Pass…

Sounds mentally ill, genuinely. Not meant as a derogatory remark against mental illness, but why else behave so inconsistently? Sadly your experience is the experience of many people of larger sizes, and many face even worse discrimination. Sizism is one of the still acceptable modes of discrimination in our culture today. It hides behind many guises. Like so many forms of discrimination.

@LaffingBear, I’ve grown much more discriminating about hiring since I started. I don’t think of it as problems I have, or barriers. Just I know better what I want. I do find a lot of “new guys” are very poor at attending to my need for attention. But I’m not sure if that’s an age thing or a me thing…

I go to RM to…rent men. If I wanted other social media or another “product” (such as OF, I wouldn’t look on RM. If for some reason I need more photographic or videographic material of a potential escort, I’ll ask and depending then consider based on which platform I’m directed to. I won’t subscribe to OF as a precursor to hiring or discussing hiring.

Oh we’ve long ago decided that. We have “started.” The Titanic and the mythos around it is sexy. That’s why this story was in the headlines and likely, to some degree, why it solicited so much support. Would that the same effort were poured into the fighting going on in Uganda right now. Or the humanitarian crisis in Yemen. But…resources are limited. We make choices every minute of every day who’s getting them. The victims of political violence in Uganda and civil war in Yemen didn’t court disaster like these billionaires did. It happened to them. Should we folks looked for the billionaires? Absolutely. But they also understood the risk. It’s tragic something went wrong, but it shouldn’t be something seen as unexpected or pitiful. Imagine if we poured resources into rehabilitating the previously incarnated? Instead people act like such folks deserve their hard life. Or addicts who end up ODing. We say, “How tragic,” and move on. We say they should know better. These men knew there was risk and took it. Sad, yes. But they knew.

Am I insensitive that I don’t understand why everyone is so exercised over this titanic submarine? Honestly if they are found I hope they are handed a BILL! The amount of money and resources being devoted to finding five RICH people who engaged in reckless behavior vs the 500 people who were left to callously die off the coast of Greece is shameful.

@Jamie21, what I mean by rigid is “ten.” As if nine is fine. It’s like saying someone 17 years and 364 days old isn’t an adult but the next day they are. I’ve met 80 year olds who aren’t adults, really. I don’t think anyone is questioning your experience. I just find so many rules around something that’s supposed to be fun, a lot of fun, a bit…unfun.

Sure. It can be, depending on how the conversation progresses. It doesn’t mean it necessarily is, however. It seems to me such a rigid understanding doesn’t take into account the vagaries of life.

Tl/dr: it depends on the type of service sought if 10 messages is sufficient to setup a satisfactory meetup For some meetups 10 messages is sufficient. For others, it’s not. Depending on what you’re looking for, if a provider thinks they know everything he needs to know in less than 10 messages in order to deliver a quality experience, he well might not be the right provider. No provider is entitled to a booking from any client. Some escorts will take the time to understand specific requests while others aren’t looking to fulfill specific requests. It’s also unlikely a provider who thinks 10 messages or less to understand special requests is going to take the time or appreciate reading lengthy explanatory texts, so as to cut down on the number of messages.

Maybe not so much a red flag as a pet peeve…and reason I’ll “pass” Guys who blur out or cover their dicks in their ads… If you have a problem with revealing that on RM or elsewhere, then you probably should reconsider being as escort.

You mean horrible? Constant phone checking and general lack of interest. It was an overnight. I don’t expect his undivided attention for 8 hrs, but I’m not paying him to play with his phone and talk about himself.

A few days ago I had a horrible experience with a new guy. Lesson learned. Stick to the trusted regulars, even if it means less frequent hiring. I prefer a more secure, lower risk investment than a potential big payout on a risky venture!
