I'm getting an impression masseurfinder is for finding masseurs. Rent Masseur is more freestyle. Fair?
-
This reply will disappoint you as I have no useful information, but I admire your taste and I'm so gonna watch this thread. He looks dreamy. One on hand, comes across as very legit, on the other he offers very weird hours and body scrubs/trimming. Not on rentmasseur. I hope you get some feedback. He just looks so regular every day guy, which I dig so much.

Why the constant fat shaming?
That's why I've got that poster on block. It's ugly, unnecessary and on its face anyway, purposely cruel. It would be just as easy to say "but then I'm quite specific about the type of guy I will have sex with."

Honestly in that case, the masseur is doing clients a favor by letting them know that they're particular about who they want as clients and people can choose to move on.
Then they should just put it out there in advance, on their listing. If they're an -ist of some sort, own it. In fairness, I have seen a few providers who do say things about weight or HWP or even age. But not many.

Considering so many guys get lost I'm amazed someone would make plans without a way to communicate.
In fairness we both thought I would have it if need be, I just forget. But he happily provided all the particulars anyway, which is fairly old school and low maintenance about it all.

Yeah I would never.
Well, mine did. We talked about no shows and he seemed entirely unstressed about it, that it wasn't something that happened to him a lot and he believed most times there was a good reason. Now he's a masseur and a pretty zen character, just goes with the flow. Conversely, I'm amazed at people sending deposits. Way too much information if you are unlucky enough to wind up in the hands of a dishonest operator, which the board tells us from time to time can happen. I'm kinda like my masseur in that respect, I like things uncomplicated. And if that doesn't work for one guy, it's bound to work for somebody else. Uncomplicated.

Old walk up building. He just gave me the particulars. Very easy to work with.

I'm just curious about this line: is that something you’d normally do? Or was it something all planned by email only?
We'd only corresponded through his site listing and his place was a buzzer for admission. Typically I don't give practitioners my number and if they aren't good with that we don't do business. Doesn't matter to me.

I’m keenly aware of this sentiment. This is one of many reasons why I do not work out of the same place I live. That is why, for me at least, it makes no difference whether I am partnered because he is not present or involved in any way.
One of the great thrills of all time was walking past his roommate, who was gaming.

I no showed today.
I managed to leave the house without my wallet and didn't realize for half an hour (and I gather more than showing, the masseur really likes it when I pay) and I didn't take his phone number with me so I couldn't call or text. Traffic conspired to utterly destroy my efforts to get money in a timely fashion (I had to go the bank with my digital bank card and it takes some time to convince a bank to work along those lines) and then traffic further conspired to utterly destroy my efforts to move more than about half a block per fives minutes.
Sometimes, the gods just don't give a fuck.
So I messaged and apology when I got home and we rebooked.
-
It doesn't matter to me, but for this: I don't enjoy arriving on site and being aware of someone else's presence. I just feel distracted by it. Be as coupled as you like, just don't creak to floorboards during my visit.

If I’m paying $$ to post on a site, I shouldn’t have to contend with the same level of flakiness as a free platform.
Why?

It's Houston, Texas. Emphasis seems to be on the less theraputic aspects of a happy experience. He's not the hottest on offer but to me that's part of the appeal. I like regular guys who are fun

In your view does that rate seem low, high or typical?

nd let’s face it, we’re not selling cars or homes and getting $10,000 commission checks.
No, but the fact is you are in the business of sales. And anyone who's done sales knows the ratio misses to hits. Leads take schmoozing, deals collapse at the last minute, the market is a cruel, hard, changeable bitch and there's always somebody who's going to compete. I get that you're setting your limits but you sound frustrated as hell about things you really cannot change.

The contempt for clients in this thread is pretty educational.

The photo request is a red flag. Regardless of the deposit issue you were right to disengage when he asked for a photo. He shouldn’t need a photo.
I know what I think it flagged but can I ask what you think it flagged?
-
I've been asked for a deposit once. He also asked me for a photo. I didn't communicate any further, which I suppose he interpreted as flaking. Didn't really care. I'm sympathetic to providers who say a deposit makes sense after demonstrations of unreliability. I'm also sympathetic to people whose reaction is it is an opportunity to get ripped off.

Reading about the new laws completely confused me. For those of you with experience, on either side of the question, what's navigating these laws like?

But what does fat mean? Because a fit man's fat can be a fat man's average.
