yeah, he may just be experiencing utter frustration over no-shows and late cancels.....most well-respected providers have this cancellation/no-show trouble and some try various remedies, but other providers never try the "deposit required" option and just soldier through the disappointing no-shows.......I suppose the very tiptop, reliable, peerless providers could require a deposit if they want (and I'm sure the provider would show up!), but it creates some level of stuffy exclusivity, I think, and can be messy if a client has a very legit reason for a late cancel
