the nearby Peninsula Hotel is pretty upscale!......you could sit in the lobby there and punch up Rentmen!......not to be snarky, but I think the days of finding working guys in upscale settings is long gone.......you know, the internet and all....... but can somebody prove me wrong??

thanks, @PapaTony ....my Dad was an airline captain, so I do know that a bit!!.......you and I need to hang out over a beer some day!!...... the runways at SIN are 2L/20R, 2C/20C, and 2R/20L.......the picture above (best I could find for this purpose) is from a 2015 article in The Straits Times and, based on a recent Google Earth picture, the new runway (2R/20L) is finished, but the taxiway connections are still being built.....and Terminal 4 is done.......Terminal 5 not started.... still wondering what the normal/usual approach is at 8AM!....

not really travel planning (as I don't want this relegated to the travel forum!), but only wondering if those here familiar with SIN know which direction a plane arriving there at 8 in the morning usually lands.....to the NE or SW??........is it almost always one way or the other at that time of day?.....I want to know what side of the plane to sit on!....thanks

has anybody ever held the door for you when you're still at least 25 feet from it and you ended up jogging a bit to the door because you felt guilty for them holding it??!!

can you offer what you like in a provider?.....tall, short, beefy, thin, cut/uncut, primarily top/bottom, race preference, etc., etc......
