  1. I marched in the first NYC Gay Pride Parade in 1970 and, happily, saw Bette Midler perform in Washington Square after the third. Haven't done much lately. In 1970 I was working in a very gay friendly business and knew there would be no repercussions so I figured, if not me, who?
  2. If biTopKris is advertising he would make a wonderful choice.
  3. I believe Bette Midler's contract is up in January.
  4. http://www.talkinbroadway.com/allthatchat_new/d.php?id=2378776 This show was done at the Atlantic this past year and has incredible buzz. Could very well be the next "hard ticket" on Broadway.
  5. Undertow https://www.rottentomatoes.com/m/undertow_2009
  6. Of course how can any of us forget Bobby Marchan's There's Something On Your Mind Part 2 Listen to the end, it's worth it.
  7. I saw Come From Away yesterday and it looks to me like another big hit is on the way. Believe it opens 3/12. It's the story of the people of Gander, Newfoundland who found themselves with 38 planes of stranded passengers on September 11. It's a musical and I believe will be a hard ticket after it opens. It's the feel good about humanity story we all need right now.
  8. A bit out of left field but the soundtrack to Cirque du Soleil's Saltimbanco works wonders.
  9. Back in the 70's I worked in a 5 star very exclusive hotel so I've met many: 1) Paul Newman 2) Steve McQueen 3) Julia Child 4) Mick Jagger 5) Warren Beatty, etc. etc. etc.
  10. A few of my favorite shows over the years: 1) A Dolls House with Janet McTeer 2) Threepenny Opera with Raul Julia and Ellen Greene 3) Il Teatro Roma's production of Orlando Furioso 4) Alan Cumming in Cabaret 5) Next To Normal 6) Buyer And Cellar with Michael Urie 7) Our Town directed by David Cromer 8) Ivo Van Hove's production of A View From The Bridge 9) Altar Boyz and, of course 10) Hamilton.
  11. Always remember - when I open my mouth and speak I don't tell you who you are, I tell you who I am.
  12. http://dearevanhansen.com/ glennnn you can sign up for an e-mail alert from the production company.
  13. At the moment you can probably find more info at the Second Stage website. Rumor has it that it won't move to B'way until spring of 2017. Nothing has been announced, no theater has been mentioned. I'll be first in line to see it again.
  14. Here's the NYTimes review. http://www.nytimes.com/2016/05/02/theater/review-dear-evan-hansen-puts-a-twist-on-teenage-angst.html
  15. Check out The Curious Incident Of The Dog In The Nighttime - It's well worth a look. Great staging by Marianne Williamson.
  16. Blew me away. I can't recommend this more highly.
  17. This show got great reviews at Arena in Washington, D.C. and has just started previews at the Signature here in NY. I see it on the 23rd. It's selling quickly and if interested you should grab tickets. https://www.washingtonpost.com/entertainment/theater_dance/dear-evan-hansen-radiates-charm-and-wit-and-thats-no-lie/2015/08/03/9a263ee4-390b-11e5-8e98-115a3cf7d7ae_story.html This one is expected to make the move to Broadway after this run.

  19. I saw Jan about 10 months ago and we didn't have that "chemical" thing so I haven't seen him again, have considered it. He is hot, a personable, outgoing professional guy and he does have a cock that "won't stop". Hardest damn dick I've ever seen. You won't go wrong if you give him a shot.
  20. Jane Lynch a "D" list actress? Did you see her in Best In Show? Did you see her in Julie And Julia? She's a major talent.
  21. It is no where near as uncomfortable for us bottom guys as it is for the general population. Try to avoid moaning and getting a boner when they start. Preparation, on the other hand, is a bitch. You really have to follow instructions and do a good job of cleaning out beforehand. Assume you will be put under some local anesthetic.
