Thanks for the info. Did he wear any clothes though? I assume the answer is yes but not sure if he was explicitly asked about that.

I’d be surprised if ESC survives too much longer especially as it occupies a lot of space (3 floors if I remember correctly) in a high rent zone with a dying business model.
Fun fact: Donald Trump voted in the school next to ESC in 2016. I remember watching some tv news correspondent covering the wait for his arrival from right in front of the entrance. Felt sorry for the guys coming out of there (though it’s a shared entrance with other businesses) without realizing they might end up on national tv!

A friend and I went to the East Side Club last year and I thought it sucked.  The staff has to be the rudest and most unprofessional people Ive ever encountered at a bath house.  The place was large and pretty clean though but I really didn't have much fun.

the continued existence of the esc has long baffled me.  i went a few times in the late 90s and early '00s.  it was always sparsely populated, decrepit, and utterly depressing.  in discussing with some friends, i remember a few people saying it was mob-run, and it stayed open just for money laundering purposes.  that explanation never made much sense to me, since even the most gentle audit would reveal that there were hardly any patrons, but maybe there is something to it, since i can't imagine what else has kept that dump open for so long.  how surprising that nyc can't support a decent bhouse, while plenty of other cities have managed to maintain decent ones (r.i.p. san jose watergarden).

I've gone there after a stressful day at work at my day job once or twice recently.
I only go in and out to use the showers and sauna just to treat myself somewhat since I don't feel like paying for equinox 🤣.
Can't speak on tweakers, haven't seen many of those wander to the steam room.

Sad that NYC can’t support at least one decent gay sauna. I used to go to the WSC, usually had a good time. Haven’t been to the ESC in years, I wonder if they have picked up the business that used to be at the WSC. When in London, I go to Pleasuredrome near Waterloo Station and it never disappoints. Also L’Oasis in Montréal.

Saw a guy named Rodrigo at Chelsea Men Spa on 29th. Cute Blatino guy (tall, a little husky). Massage was pretty good, but toward the end he gave me an option on type of massage and told me how much to pay the guy at reception and how much to give to him. Basically ended up upcharging me. 🙄🙄🙄
I would have repeated with him and I give a good tip, but now don’t plan on repeating with him at all. It was my first time at this spa and first time I’ve ever had a masseur talk pricing/tips with me.
(I just did the Math and he would have gotten more money from me just from two visits based on what I would have tipped, than what he got from discussing prices on this one visit that will never be repeated… Not smart…)

Intrigued by his tiered sensuality (and I'm assuming pricing).
    Anyone with experience?

Yes he is, but maybe not as athletic as before. Still very handsome and had a good time. He says he’s also working at alpha or another spa under the name Diego

Of the three spas below 23rd on the east side (New East Men, Rainbow88 and Yeah Men), New East is the least dingy IMHO.

Chad at 27 Men Spa is tall.
There’s also this new place in the East Village called Seasons Body Work Spa that has a young tall guy named Tom.

The thing to keep in mind is that strippers are not escorts, unless they advertise that fact. In my extensive experience with strippers a couple of decades ago when Montreal had the best stripper clubs in North America, I rarely encountered strippers who would provide the full services of escorts.
Eventually I resorted to only hiring escorts because the value for money just wasn't there with strippers. With escorts you can be pretty sure what it is they will do or not do. Their business model is different from that of strippers.

I will pay up to $300 max.  But I have found that over $200 what you are paying for is more the body than the experience.  You can't put a price on the connection you might or might no make.  The body will only get you so far.  Hiring can be of a ,whim and I will take the first guy available at whatever or sometimes I will see if several guys are available and go with the cheapest.  But I never haggle with a guy over his rate, and really don't like i if I say your are too high and he offers a lower rate.  I fear he will try to give less of him self, a discounted service for a lower rate.
