About 14 years ago, when I was in my late 30’s, I hired Blu; he was just starting in the business. Pete Ross set up the meeting and I’ll never forget Pete saying, “Blu is going to love you, you’re just his type.” When we met, the boy was hard before we touched or his pants came off. I guess it’s possible that he was a great actor or I was just irresistible; two theories which are bullshit.
 
I have no idea if there is truth to the allegations but in my very limited experience with Blu, it seems implausible.

As I said, overall, not a bad experience. But he clearly views himself as being "upper echelon". He is maybe a 200 - 250/hr guy.
There is certainly a niche for smart, pretty European boys. He is very fashionably dressed and can carry a good conversation. But if that is not your thing, then u may feel disappointed. I am sure he has a cadre of clients who are into him. He is very bright and speaks several languages. But he is a little too chic for me. I prefer hot young college guys who show up in jeans and a T-shirt and just want to get down to it.

I think this is why it’s important to talk with the masseur (or escort) prior to the appointment and level set expectations. For instance, I always ask where the masseur received their training. If the answer is “Big Willies Massage School” then I know that the technical expertise is not going to be on par with Burke Williams.

I am sure the internet has played a role in the demise of strip clubs, but I think the other two variables are probably just as important. 1) Politics. State and local governments have drifted toward more conservative policies over the last 10-15 years which creates unique challenges in zoning and liquor licenses. 2) Real Estate. 10 years ago, the cost of commercial real estate was a third (or less) of today’s rate. This has to be the largest cost that a strip club owner manages unless they own the dirt which I’m sure few do.
