  1. No had heard rumors he just owned a studio not that he starred in them.
  2. "Ally" simply doesn't belong in an acronym by definition, IMO.
  3. This boy seems nice:
  4. And the people who monitor it are monitoring it. They will make a vaccine if it looks like it's going to spread.
  5. Yeah this is the kind of stuff that happens every year. And that flu might be in next year's vaccine if they find it spreading.
  6. As Candice Bergen put it, "Modeling...is a terrible career for anyone who has a mind."
  7. One whose stage name is a zodiac sign?
  8. I have a straight friend who's pushing 50 and lamenting that he's forever single but he won't run a fucking comb through his hair or tuck in his damn shirt because "I shouldn't have to change who I am. She should like me for me." And the sad thing is, this glaring blind spot aside, he's great husband material. I always say he's ideal to drop into the middle of a relationship but terrible at the start. But he has a bug up his ass about something that's readily fixable and it has completely soured him on life. That's what I think of when I read that article. This is a male phenomenon. There are gay men who do the same. You do not need to be an Adonis to find someone. But, you do need to know where your strengths lie and lead with them, and do what you can to shore up your weak spots. Yes, prettier people don't have to try as hard. Welcome to the club. It's called everyone. We meet at the bar.
  9. Is there any truth to the rumors that he anonymously produced a lot of X-rated films to get by after his career faded?
  10. I'm a lot fatter than that anonymous writer and while I've had the occasional experience with a mean girl, never anything "relentless" like he describes which makes me doubt the story. Like is he leaving out that he grabbed their crotch or something?
  11. Rents will drop and new clubs will open up.
  12. I have spinal stenosis which has been causing some foot/calf weakness leading to me being not great at standing on one foot, but it's variable, so some days I sit down.
  13. I've met him in person and he is small framed and rail thin, I suspect he's one of those people who looks a lot better in clothes.
  14. That's a pretty rough 32. Most 32 year olds these days are taking much better care of their skin, even the straight ones.
  15. I'm saying herd immunity from the vaccine, even if it doesn't work for you personally. Even the vaccine only works for 60% of the population, if everyone gets it, it doesn't really matter if you are one of the 40% it doesn't work for, the population spread will most likely have been halted.
  16. If it dies out in the general population it won't really matter if it's not as effective for the elderly. "herd immunity" happens well before 100% exposure in the population.
  17. You know it's not like they then stick you in a room of COVID patients to see if you get it? They just tell you to do as you've been doing and compare rates between the groups after a couple of months to see if the vaccine group had a lower rate of infection. So you're either getting the vaccine early or you're not, the latter of which puts you in no worse a position than not being in the study.
  18. Governor of Nevada just dropped the hammer and is requiring masks in all public places except when eating or drinking. Hopefully this gets things under control.
  19. Um, sordid details are what we're all here for. Spill!
  20. Back in the days of gay.com, I got hit up on my profile by a couple of doctors in NYC who were basically looking for a houseboy. I was 29 and gainfully employed at the time, and I declined but was bemused. Once in the Gaiety I was standing along the wall in the audience wearing cargo shorts and a Tshirt and an older guy leaving said 'you should be up on stage there" and I wondered if he was making an opening offer but I just laughed and said I wasn't sufficiently endowed to pull that gig off. Temperamentally I don't think I could have ever done it. I certainly couldn't have done it for someone I wasn't attracted to. But hey, if, say, Pierce Brosnan had made me an offer...
  21. If you really can't deal with "boyfriend," you could call him "my fella." People would know what you meant, it doesn't imply he's a child, it's not as clinical as "partner."
  22. There's also simply that most people now are doing SOME measure of distancing, so the average initial exposure and viral dose is likely lower.
  23. Haagen Dazs actually downsized the pint to 14 oz and the quart to 28 oz.
  24. Eh, I wouldn't get too hung up about calling him your boyfriend, I hear it used all the time by much older people. And straight people do it too.
  25. It wouldn't surprise me if it's more a long-term benefit rather than taking it upon getting the illness so the study may not say much.
