I'm guessing budget. And they're leaning hard into the spinster thing which is undermined by her having a kid.

Most 25 mph roads are in areas where you're only traveling that for a mile or two before you get to a road with a much higher limit. Meaning you're only saving about 30 seconds by speeding, amd that comes at a cost of significantly higher risk of severe injury or death to others. Get over yourself.

It's about not killing pedestrians, who are a more regular occurrence in residential areas.
-
25 is a standard limit for residential areas.

You almost certainly can't get it again immediately. The question is how long immunity lasts - one year, several years, lifelong?

They've reversed themselves in that. The supposed reinfection cases were faulty testing. And none of those people had symptoms on that second go-round.

It's not really true that it can only be delayed. We are not one big unbroken chain of contacts. Different regions could stamp it out. And distancing measures short of total lockdown could reduce the transmission rate substantially and possibly to a point where it dies out before getting to everyone. R0 is a number assuming no measures are taken. R(eff) is something else and what we are dealing with now, and it varies by location and measures taken.

If I got the antibody test and found I had already had it, that's when I would consider it.

It's really not unexpected at all when you think about it. People from the Bronx are more likely to commute by train to Manhattan, AND more likely to be essential workers and have to go to work. People in Manhattan usually work in Manhattan, so even if they still have to work they have the option to walk if they want and can avoid the congested disease vector of the subway. Staten Island residents who work in Manhattan take the ferry which is open-air and not as big a transmission vector.

Who was doing the blowing/rimming?

It's occurred to me that I live alone and don't think my siblings would be totally sure where to look for my accounts and stuff. I should probably put that together. -
What percentage of masseurs have sex with their clients?

That I'd expect pretty low unless they also advertise as escorts. -

I think that answer is highly variable with where your are hiring them. From rentmasseur or masseurfinder I'd expect it's very high. At some spas it's very high. At other spas it's zero. You can usually get an idea from their marketing which type of establishment is. Probability is inversely proportional to the sticker price of the massage. The cheaper the spa massage, the more likely something is to happen(and you are expected to make up for that with the tip). Also, frankly, the attractiveness of the client is probably a factor...I would think there are likely some masseurs who intend to do nothing but "legit" massage but if they get a Brad Pitt(or whatever their "type" is) on their table their resolve might weaken. -
I'm pushing 50 now and a few years ago I decided my window had closed on a newborn unless I find myself with a partnet 10+ years younger. As a single parent there's just too high a chance of leaving the kid parentless before they are 18. There's obuvously no concern for these kids financially, but I lost both parents before 21 and it's definitely not a risk I would choose to take for my hypothetical child. (Yes, yes, people live longer now yada yada but there's still a vastly higher risk of dying in the next 18 years when you are 50 vs 30 and it's not things you can exercise your way out of.) I tell people the best thing to do is adopt a 17-year-old, put them through college, and hope they're grateful enough to keep you out of the nursing home. If the kid is a success, you're a hero. If they aren't....well, it's not really your fault...

I'd think if you're both wearing masks and you're not in a high-risk group it's reasonably safe. But it's not safe if you want something involving removal of the masks.

What is a U-spa? googling just gave me a list of spa/salons...

If people are throwing clots, is it possible the initial "avoid NSAIDs" recommendation was misguided? People who regularly take NSAIDS might have a rebound effect of more clotting when they stop, no? And if someone was admitted to the hospital who had been taking an OTC NSAID for, say, joint pain you probably wouldn't normally bother to continue it, right? I'm wondering if there was a chicken and egg problem in that initial warning. -
I have never had a wet dream in my life. I guess because I figured out how to masturbate before I could ejaculate. Thanks to Catholic school sex non-education I didn't learn about them until after the age where most stop having them. Meanwhile I was shocked to find a friend was having them almost every single night all through college(he's a bit weird about "discipline" so I could imagine he never jerked off).

No, you can just edit it.

I didn't say zero risk. I just said not really out of line with what most people are doing. And yes, if the person is a healthcare/essential worker or such, that's on par or higher risk than multiple random people, because those workers are currently at the highest risk.
-
Realistically, if you picked ONE person to be your fbuddy during quarantine, it's not a huge risk(couples who don't live together aren't abstaining, I can guarantee you that). But when you're talking about hooking up with random people who are ALSO hooking up with random people? Not a good idea.

(450+600)×52=54600. Which is more than $46,500. Median full-time wages in the US were about 48k in 2019. I was talking about people at the bottom half of the income distribution, not people in high COL areas. I never said nobody was hurting or there weren't gaps. Nor did I say we shouldn't be doing this.
-
Unemployed people at the bottom...and even up to around the median...will actually be taking home more on unemployment. Unemployment is typically something like half to 2/3 of pay, and then with $600/week added to that, it's a raise for anyone earning $50something thousand or less. It's the people at that payscale who still have jobs that are getting shafted. Working harder, subject to risk of exposure, and no extra pay(though some places have given temporary boosts to workers, by no means have all done so.)
