Why should I care about Covid? I'm vaccinated.

I wish the gyms by me would open up the showers too. I understand steamrooms being unsafe, but showers? WTF? -

Meh. Most people, even many of very modest means benefited in some way from the resources of those who came before them when they were young. I have no issue with passing something forward. Plus you need a cushion in case you last longer than you expect. Because it's not like you can just run out and get a job at 90 in most cases(though there are some exceptions).

I just got my first shot and I will continue to wear masks not because I feel so much that I need to for personal protection, but because there's no way for people to tell who's lying about having had the shot and it's going to be months before enough of the population has had the shot to be able to lift the mandates. I view it as consideration for others rather than safety, and I don't want to give the idiots any more feeling of their being justified in not wearing masks. But I will be hopping on a plane in March without any worries about it. And I'll wear the mask on the plane anyway just because I don't want to catch a random cold. -
The link requires you to set up an account. Googled him. He was jist fined $3,000 for refusing a post-match interview because he didn't want to wear a mask. So we know he's a fucking asshole.

I liked Pretend it's a City but honestly kind of surprised Netflix went for it. Seems like it has narrow appeal. When Lebowtiz went on about her having no money, it kind of made me think this was Scorsese's way to throw his friend some cash without actually GIVING her money and making her feel bad.

Doesn't Weber still deny he's gay? Honestly these interactions sound like he's a headcase chock full of internalized homohobia and self-loathing, doing basically everything BUT actual sex with the other person to maintain some ludicrous plausible deniability.
-
Let's be real, Bruce Weber is super sketchy. The whole taking a 16/17 year old boy to live with him and take naked pictures is highly suspect at best.

Are you working? An employer plan will occasionally separate out the prescription benefit from the medical and have it administered by someone like ExpressScripts. I don't think they're allowed to just drop your coverage like that.

I was speaking figuratively when I said 5 minutes. You seemed to have serious negotiations underway within a couple of weeks of meeting other guys. That's as good as five minutes for most ordinary mortals.

There is currently only one generic Truvada. Descovy is a different medication.
-
I was wondering - do payments for medication count towards your medical deductible and stop-loss? I'm not retirement age, but the way my employer plan works, the deductibles overlap so if I've spent the deductible on office visits/treatments, prescriptions will get covered from first dollar. Likewise, if I hit the stop loss with Rx spending, I don't pay anything more for in-network care the rest of the year.

He falls in love in five minutes and is ready to move people into his fancy home and start paying their bills. the next day Were I young and nubile I'd be considering it....

You forgot a gym with communal showers, and a sauna and steamroom.

"possible" does not mean "probable". It often doesn't even mean remotely likely.

Economics of fitness modeling and photography

It's still a relative handful of people making the money. -

The number of attractive individuals vastly exceeds the number of paid modeling gigs, far more so than say acting, where you at least have to be able to memorize lines etc. Supply and demand principles dictate that it's unreasonable to expect to make a living at it. -
Bodybuilders onstage are extremely dehydrated so the veins and striations will show. That negatively impacts their butt aesthetics.

There are some who escort/do porn as part of a longer term plan, and others who do it because it's "easy money" and they are constitutionally incapable of holding down a 9-5 job or planning in general. The second category is likely larger given human nature.

I think i would try to take a semester or two at a commity college first before going the tutor route. Since most are all online now it doesn't need to be local.

Some masters degree recipients form Harvard University are social workers and are choosing to make that little money. It's not that they are incapable of making more in a different field. Some fields just do not pay well. And many suburban police departments pay quite handsomely. But remember too that these other jobs often have a physical component that not all can meet either. I'm not yet 50 and I would not be able to do a job that required me to go up and down ladders, for example. Nursing is a physically demanding job as well in many cases.

Most established professions have multiple levels and you can generally find one that you can make a living at. That's not really as true with the various performing arts(including cam models) where the number of paying positions is orders of magnitude lower than the number of sufficiently talented aspirants. If you can't make it through med school you can probably still be a nurse or physician assistant. If you can't be a nurse you can probably be a CNA. If you can't break into the top tier of OnlyFans there's not really somewhere else to go unless you change very substantially what you are willing to do and with whom, and even then that might not work out and has a much different risk profile.

I know people with graduate degrees with learning disabilities; what they can do doesn't tell you anything about what they can't do. Some people speak very well and couldn't tell you what 7 times 9 is without a calculator, and might still get it wrong even with one. Other people could build a computer from scratch but can't write a one-page essay. My uncle dropped out of a prestigious engineering school because he couldn't handle the writing requirement. But he was like MacGuyver when it came to fixing cars and the like.
