Drag was one of those “secret delights” gay men would share, going to clubs and fundraisers back in the day - the queens were almost the only representation of femininity in the  joint in early 80’s before gay bars became THE bridal shower destination. The OQs: A little gritty, a little ugly, a little home-made, a little filthy, always self-effacing. There’s a more commercial slickness to all of it now, not to mention the manufacture of ego and I’ll-temper exaggerated for TV. Drag is no longer targeted TO a gay audience. But I love that there are more who can afford to buy houses now!!!

@foxy Get yourself a TV remote and change the channel, set down the phone, close the laptop. Sure fire way to see fewer!

    YES!

Back in the day, "drag" was a part of being transgressive and making a real strong statement. Drag was a life, and it was a political statement.

This video clip is a nostalgic piece about a very special time in  our community's history that may be unknown to many.

Certainly not a way to up your customer base.  I went to him once pre-pandemic.  He encouraged me to meet him at his apt in LIC rather than at a rental space in the city to keep the price down.  It was out of the way for me but I agreed to try him out.  He's really a nice enough guy, personable, the massage was good.  He gets naked with no problem and allowed for mutual touch.  I really can't say anything negative about him other than the location which doesn't work for me.  But a nice apt and massage set-up.

Happy to read all this - but he needs to get his act together so as not to frighten prospects away!

I agree.  He was very polite and affable, but definitely distant.  He avoids being touched.  He doesn't  care to show off his his trim, muscular body.  The room is dim, soft lighting, soft music, but no warmth in his personality.  "Formulaic" is a very good description.  I wasn't unhappy, nor did I feel that I was cheated, but I wouldn't repeat.

he seems to have a heavy travel schedule

maybe he is just worn out and bored.

in that case, he should just relax and enjoy his travels.

That does seem to be standard practice with the Thai providers. I do agree...it's much nicer than the *here's your treat - now get the f*CK out* service you get from most Americans

    i totally agree with you...

my problem with Smile is that it all seemed formulaic.... i know that essentially it IS, but he needs to at last package it better - it just seemed devoid of feeling: real or manufactured, haha

Seems to be new, Tampa based, very few visits to his site. no revews...

Responded to inquiry with rate of $500 hour in Manhattan . Hotels here are expensive but I get the feeling he may have to use his own savings to cover expenses if he expects customers at that rate.

Am I wrong? Any experience with this guy?

    Thanks

Greedy Guys = Poor Experience in my experience.

Move on and find someone that is looking for a mutually beneficial engagement .  This behavior is a sure sign that he’s only interested in himself.

"How generous can you be?" = next!!!!

I’ve always thought he was attractive, but had mixed reviews here. More interestingly is how they were mixed…super satisfied for some and some pretty oddball behavior for others.

Ultimately, I have passed every time I consider him and consider myself fairly warned

Folks say this a lot but I appreciate this forum. A little bit of knowledge can go a long way.

He's definitely not for everybody - peculiar guys in some ways (a bit cold, a bit hard to connect with even when in his presence) but does give a great bodywork session

whether or not he works for you is, of course, up to you

William Higgins' movie "Carlo and Friends" had a Nazi Germany themed scene, they put a disclaimer at the beginning of the video.  The guys were not in uniform very long... 🙂

One of the weirder experiences I remember is being in a sleazy paris bar (a place occupied by nazis in world war 2 and from where jews were deported) and seeing a nazi fantasy porn on a screen

Funny how I remember it to this day

I wonder what the "background fantasy" for that one was...

That’s one I’ve never heard of!

I forget where (I think a BDSM magazine I borrowed from a college friend), but I read of a (straight) Jewish couple where the guy wore an SS uniform and the wife was a member of the "resistance."

i think that the so-called background fantasy for me being what i called a visitor without papers, he called an "illegal alien" are pretty clear and very much on display within earshot, haha

as for that jewish/SS thing... well, i try to be non-judgmental, but.... just "NO"... just "NO"

Not really. A preference is "I like X, but I enjoy Y" more. Not "I won't even consider X." That's total exclusion, not preference.

Writing off and excluding an entire race based on race is racist exclusion. White supremecy and racism are still a major thing among Americans and American gays, especially ages millennial and up, who were brainwashed by Sean Cody, Bel Ami, and Corbin Fisher to only find white jocks with abs attractive.

That said, American gays love to think of themselves as open-minded and progressive, so they try to sugarcoat their exclusionary racism and social segregation as "preference" and delude themselves that if they're just nice about it and hide it, that makes it okay. Whatever.

It's changing with Zoomer gays, who actually are as open-minded and non-rscist as millennial gays pretend to be. In the meantime, I suggest black providers travel internationally where the white supremacy thing is less prevalent (still there, but not nearly as bad).

love the truly all american look
