Not an expert and may be talking out of my butthole but I believe the 2017 tax package giving 1.8 trillion to the wealthy also included a clause that taxes would go up this year and again in 2027 (?) for middle income earners. It's an offset for the millionaire tax gift.

That sounds similar to what my CPA explained a few weeks ago, which is why I ended up owing a bit more.

  2. I know nothing about doing my own taxes so I go to my CPA (who charges $275 for a simple tax return with no itemizations).  Anyhow, I had my appointment two weeks ago with him, and I owed* quite a bit more in fed taxes than I did the year before, even though nothing changed in my income. He explained to me that EVERYONE owed more this year due to a change in taxes in 2023, which not many people were aware of until they filed this year. As he said, "It snuck up on everyone - including him."  So it may not be you doing anything wrong - it's just the tax laws which have changed slightly.

*I might have said this before, but I will say it again. Years ago, when I was just starting out with my own business as a 'D/B/A', my CPA said it's always best to owe the feds money each April, rather than get a big refund. As he said, 'Why get a refund of a few thousand dollars ?  Why let the Feds use your extra thousands and then return it to you with no interest accumulated ? '  He said it's always best to owe them money - usually $200 or less is perfect (at least for my income).  So each year I owe - usually under $100.  Last year I owed $19.  This year - with the the tax laws changing as I mentioned - I owed $150.

  3. According to some media sites (who got their info from 'inside Palace sources'), KC has been diagnosed with pancreatic cancer - not prostate cancer, as they are publicly saying (he did have an enlarged prostate, according to the sources, but upon further examination they found pancreatic cancer).

I don't know how true this is, as I've not seen anything in the MSM, but this is what's being reported and what is being discussed on some social media circles. Take it for what it's worth.

  4. The legendary diva of the stage talks 'the dumbing down' of Broadway, her honest thoughts about 'Sunset Boulevard', and much more in this new interview.

  5. Last time I went to a sing-along on Broadway was to 'Summer: The Donna Summer Musical" in 2018.  As a big Summer fan, I couldn't imagine how bad this show could be (especially with the people involved in bringing this to Broadway).  It was 75 minutes of drunk, menopausal women singing off key and dancing in the aisles of a half empty theater. Thank heavens for some of the older good looking gay guys and younger twinks in the audience.

  6. I saw the original TOMMY musical when it toured my city 30 years ago (my friend and I were subscribers to the theater back then). We both had no desire to see this - we simply weren't in the mood that night and we weren't 'Who' fans (we were 30 at the time, both saw the movie in the 70s and didn't remember much of the story).  Begrudgingly, we ended up at the theater - and had the best night of our lives. The show was incredible (especially for a 'tour' show). We were mesmerized that Friday night, and bought tickets to the Saturday matinee. We were fascinated once again. I bought the cast musical (double CD) and played it every day for about a year.

I'm going to try to get to NYC and see the revival. What's keeping me away is the price of hotels and tickets to the show - everything is still out of whack.

  7. Jennifer Lopez, who has experienced 'weak ticket sales' to her first concert tour in five years, has decided to rebrand the tour to attract more interest, after canceling seven shows due to lackluster ticket sales.

The 'This Is Me Now' tour kicked off in February, to poor sales. She ended up canceling seven dates in the past month, including Cleveland and Nashville. Along with the tour announcement, Lopez released a new album titled “This Is Me… Now” (which flopped worldwide) and two films “This Is Me…Now: A Love Story,” and a documentary, “The Greatest Love Story Never Told.”(Both had low viewership, according to sources.) Lopez, 53, did extensive interviews the earlier part of the year, pushing her new projects.

According to sources close to the tour, she has dropped the "This is Me...Now" title to her tour, and the format focusing on the new songs from the album.  Going forward, the tour will be titled "This is Me...Live / The Greatest Hits" and will eliminate many of the songs from her flop album.

Same guy, at least one pic is the same, although beheaded, and the phone number is the same in both ads.

I don't see a phone option in the RentMen ad. Just RM chat, Sponsor my ad, Submit a Review, and My Rentmen links.  In the ad, he says it's easiest to text him - but that's hard to do with no phone number.

  9. Anything new on this guy ? He' s visiting my area now, and he's advertising $130 for an hour incall. I'm curious if that is for an erotic experience.

BTW, I noticed this ad running for the same days as 'HotBoyBrazil'. This guy is also Brazillian, and the stats match up. This guy has no phone number to contact, so I can't compare that way. Is this guy the same guy as HBB - maybe newer pictures ?
