Met with him again this week as he was in my area. Again, great time / great massage. Cher's memoir (part one) came out this past November, and has been sitting on the top of the NYT Best Seller's list for six weeks (take that, Barbra* !) I read the book (about 400 pages) between Christmas - New Year's, and truly enjoyed it. I was hesitant at first, thinking it wouldn't reveal too much - just the same stuff she has said in interviews over the decades - but it was a nice surprise. (I do wish she really covered more stuff in detail, such as losing the role to Streisand in the 1976 movie 'A Star Is Born', and Neil Bogart trying to push Donna Summer into giving her the "Bad Girls" album when she arrived at Casablanca), alas she didn't.)
