  1. I owned a gift shop for many years, and was known for the greeting cards I sold (from the risque to the museum cards). From 1987- 2000 I made a ton of money selling cards year round. Then 2001 happened and the 'anthrax' scare that went along with it, and my sales dropped like a rock. At the same time, something called 'e-mail' and 'e-cards' came along, which was much safer. By 2004, I had gotten rid of all my cards and stationery and devoted my space to other categories which made me money. Cards were over and done with. Today, I try to buy cards for Christmas and Birthdays for a few close friends and relatives. Every year the selection has gotten worse. I'm not sure if the companies I used to deal with are even in business any more - they have a 'shadow presence' on the internet, if any presence at all. None of the stores in my area carry those cards if they carry cards at all - most are crappy. And over the years, others have stopped sending me cards - now I get text messages on my Birthday and on Christmas, or Facebook postings. I was speaking to a few friends of mine about this over the past few weeks, and the consensus is that just about everyone has eliminated cards in the past 20 years or so.
  2. Mike Jeffries, the former CEO of Abercrombie & Fitch who was charged with sex trafficking, has dementia and late-onset Alzheimer’s disease, his legal team said in newly filed court documents. A neuropsychologist diagnosed Jeffries following several evaluations, according to two filings filed in a New York court on Monday. Brian H. Bieber, an attorney for Jeffries, began questioning the businessman's attentiveness, competency and focus, the filing states. "The Michael Jeffries who presented himself did not even come close to resembling a master’s degree-educated individual, who was just nine years earlier, the chief executive officer of a publicly traded company," the document says. Jeffries was arrested in West Palm Beach, Florida, in October on sex trafficking and interstate prostitution charges. He was released on $10 million bond with a judge ordering that he be confined to home detention with GPS monitoring and prohibiting him from traveling without the proper approval. He also had to surrender his passport. Jeffries has pleaded not guilty to one count of sex trafficking and 15 counts of interstate prostitution. Former Abercrombie & Fitch CEO, who is charged with sex trafficking, has dementia, lawyers say WWW.NBCNEWS.COM Mike Jeffries, who his lawyers say also has Alzheimer's disease, has pleaded not guilty to one count of sex trafficking and 15 counts of interstate prostitution.
  3. Cute guy - any info or experience to share ? I'm a little disappointed he has no shirtless shots - fully clothed in each photo as though he is a fashion model. 4. Just found this one-star review of him on RM, mixed in with five star reviews (which had nothing written). Once again, let this be a lesson about sending payment before the appointment: 'Showed up very late. He Stopped 2 min into the session and said he couldn't continue. No reason initially. I didn't press the issue cause he said he would give me a refund. (I paid $300 up front via Cashapp.) After he left he sent me a text suggesting I hadn't showered. That was not true but I guess that's his reason for stopping the session. And then only sent back $100 via cashapp. I think it was a scam to get something for basically nothing. This was my 1st very bad experience using this service.'

  6. A flip side to this coin... Late yesterday afternoon, I got in touch with 'Alexo' who was visiting my area for the weekend, leaving on Monday. Pleasant enough texts (my first was questions about his erotic massage, price, where he was staying while the second was figuring out a time that worked) which he kindly answered my few questions. I was to meet him at noon today (Sunday). In the meantime, I heard from another visiting masseur letting me know he was in town for last night - early Monday morning. He's one of my favorites, and I was sorry to tell him I wasn't available to meet this weekend. This morning at 8 am, I texted Alex to confirm our noon appointment at his hotel. Heard nothing back. I texted again to confirm our noon meeting at 10 am - nothing. I check his ad, and sure enough he's moved on to another state (I guess last night?). Didn't cancel with me, didn't respond to texts - the masseur just ghosted me. I guess he considers this 'professional behavior' for a business man. I contacted my 'favorite traveler' and unfortunately, his schedule is booked. So now I'm waiting to hear back from a new provider traveling in my area. Bottom line: Maybe masseur Alexo should have given ME a deposit for our appointment, since he has wasted my time ? 😬
  7. Some friendly, experienced advice to share: Whether you're in business for yourself as a provider, a hairdresser, a seamstress, a mechanic, a restaurant owner, a retail owner, pet groomer, lawyer, doctor, etc. - you NEED to separate your personal life (and responsibilities) from your business life. A client engages your services and pays you for what is offered. What you do with that money is up to you - the client has no more connection to it once it leaves his pocket. You can buy new clothes, buy a new car, pay your bills, pay your rent, or help a relative. Likewise, the client who cancels or is a 'no show' is not responsible for your financial obligations (your rent, your cc debt, your car loan, your student loans, caring for a relative, etc) , so please learn how to separate the two. Most importantly, remember that when you are in business for yourself, it does not guarantee you a steady income - or any income at all. Many are not in business for themselves because they can't take that weekly gamble, and therefore work for a company where they are guaranteed a weekly income. Just some advice to share...
  8. He's in my area through tomorrow morning. I'm free this afternoon and evening, so I sent a text to him letting him know I'm interested in an hour erotic appointment with him, if his schedule allows. We'll see if he responds and I get to meet him. (My first choice - Alexo - made an appointment with me for noon, and has since ghosted me as I've texted to confirm and no response...his ad says he left the area already, even though he was supposed to be here till tomorrow).
  9. This is news to me. I never heard of any barber or hair salon (in my area, at least) requiring a booking via online portal, or asking for a deposit. The ones which I'm familiar with (and I just made an appointment the other day with a new place for after New Year's) still take phone calls to answer questions for new clients, and make the appointment. The few places I called around (and the one which I ended up booking) never mentioned a deposit was required for the appointment.
  10. Actually, I think the the actions by Lewis cheapens Broadway. But wadda ya gonna do ?
  11. Apparently, this did not play out as Kecia Lewis was hoping it would. Lupone completely ignored her, continued being Patti Lupone and this flamed out quickly. No one really seemed to care, and most importantly (at least on social media) no one was siding with Lewis. Better luck next time, Kecia.
  12. I really, really wanted to see this with McDonald. (Last time I saw 'Gypsy' was in 1991 with Tyne Daly, and she made me a Broadway musical fan for eternity). The reviews are spectacular - except for the one in the NY Post. And the few musical theater devotee friends of mine who went to see this on opening night are (sad to say) agreeing with the NY Post (though in their own words, none of them read the Post's reviews or any reviews). They left totally underwhelmed - and this group are die-hard McDonald fans. Then I started reading audience reviews on other sites, and they seem to be split. They either loved this production, or were disappointed (many saying this is not a character for McDonald to play). It will be interesting to see how this does at the box office, once the 'pre-sale' ticket holders are done.
  13. When I have been in that situation, and the guy lightly brushes my dick, or 'between the cheeks', I always tell him (very politely) "That felt very nice...please continue." Sometimes they will ask for clarification (I believe to get full consent from me, make sure where on the same page) by saying, 'What felt nice ? What do you mean ?' and I will tell them 'You brushed your hand on my dick. It felt great. It' not off limits.' They'll give a knowing chuckle, and then go for it. Or (the majority of the time) they know what I mean and just go for it without questions or clarification.
  14. I've said it before, and I'll say it again...I'm sorry this happens to providers, but 'it goes with the territory' when you are in business for yourself, and that business is focused on 'serving customers' in any way. I know from 25 years experience of owning a retail store (and some of the merchandise I sold was appointment-based), and I have friends who have been doing appointment-based business even longer (mechanics, dress designers, hairdressers, tutors, specialty cake bakers, etc.). 'No shows' in an appointment-based service industry are par for the course. It's frustrating, it's annoying, it's disrespectful, it's time-consuming, it's costly ....the list is endless. But it's the nature of the beast of being in this kind of business. My advice: Don't take it personal, don't make impulsive moves (like requiring deposits) - just rethink your strategy going forward. If you got 'burned' too many times in one city on one weekend, then cross that city off your list for future visits for a while (a year or so). Pick another location and start fresh - you'll be glad you did.
  15. If I had a guy like that training me, I'd totally embarrass myself. I wouldn't be focused on the training but focused on him, instead. I'd be dropping those weights all over the place...
  16. One thing I noticed about Alexo - if I hire him via Rentmen, I'll get 6' of Alexo for the hour. If I hire him via Rentmasseur, I only get 5' 7" of Alexo. I really want 6' but don't need the 'escort experience' just the erotic massage. Choices...😀
  17. I've seen him about five or six times since my initial meeting with him a year ago. So charming and friendly - and he seems to get sexier every time I'm with him. And I admit, I hire him for 'erotic massage' but no massage actually happens with us. It's more like 'where are curiosities' take us (though we don't get into penetration because A) I'm not looking for that and B) he then charges 'escort' price). He really loves having his body 'appreciated' and also 'appreciating' the client's body (no matter their age or shape). I have to say, he gives one of the best BJs I ever had from a provider - he really enjoys it and really gets into it. Please don't PM for details - just hire him and enjoy your time with him. 18. He's been mentioned / recommended (by me) in other topics before, but I have to give it to him for 'great ass'. I could feel his ass up all day long (and he wouldn't mind) - nice and firm and really great to have fun with. He's visiting my city this weekend, but so are a few other providers - so I may pass on him and go with a new one this weekend. I hope I don't regret it (he comes by this way every four or five weeks or so, I'll meet with him next time). 19. His travel schedule says he will be in Miami Jan 2 - 6, but then his ad says he will be in NYC through Jan 8.
  20. My apologies - just found this thread from earlier this year (I even replied to it ! ) but it didn't come up earlier in my search. Looks like he takes his ads down quite often. So anything at all on him ? Someone must've 'experienced' him, no ?
  21. This weekend, my area is being visited by many providers from South America (curious if they're traveling together) ? Anyone have any experience with AlexBrazil? Though he seems to be on the shorter side than what I prefer, he's a cute guy with a nice body. I did a search here, and found nothing on him (maybe he's a name changer). Any info would be helpful - he's only here for a couple of days. I am curious as to how far an erotic massage will go (both nude, mutual touching, extras ?) Thanks ! 23. I have always preferred the traditional as well, but this was a pleasant surprise while I was channel surfing. Beautifully done, and really added to the Christmas spirit. Change is nice sometimes.
  24. Thank you for this ! He's in my area this week and I'm really tempted to try him out. He has the looks and body I'm interested in these days. Looking for 'awesome MT' and 'HE' ! Do you recall how much an erotic one hour massage was ? (PM me if you'd rather, and tell me more about the experience).
  25. If anyone is interested in watching a beautiful holiday concert, I highly recommend this concert which premiered on (my) PBS tonight.
