fedssocr1 got a reaction from + Pensant in Miracle! Thai boys are being rescued!
I think among this issues was their weakened state, the size of some of these kids (they are very small), the fact that none of them knew how to swim or had much experience in the water, the water is not exactly clear and clean, some of the passages were apparently quite narrow, etc. So I think it's taken some time to work with them in a pretty cramped space getting used to the equipment and what they will need to do. They've also been continuously pumping out as much water as they can. I understand that they've made really good progress on that front over the last several days before it started raining again. If they could lower the water level far enough the kids wouldn't need to spend as much time under water. They've also been jackhammering some of the smaller passages in order to get more clearance.

It seems like all of that was wise since getting them out appears to have taken less time than predicted. The latest I saw was that they intend to get the other 9 out tomorrow after giving the rescue divers some rest and replenishing some supplies along the route. (It's a few miles from where they are to the outside)

sadly he says he's basically just interested in free meals and conversation. He has a female friend who uses the same site and he says she says that none of her dates was looking for a physical thing. I was the first person he met via the site and vice versa. It's a shame because he's very nice and I enjoyed spending time with him...and he's one of my perfect types. I told him if he changes his mind about the physical thing to let me know. So, lesson learned.

Yeah, I think the not wanting to be thought of (or consider themselves) a prostitute has a lot to do with it. But if you're going to advertise yourself as a sugar baby I think you have to understand what that means to the vast majority of daddies. I'd be happy to do things for a guy, but he's got to be willing to do some things for me too. I have plenty of friends I can have meals with and spend time with without having to spend any extra cash.

I personally know several young guys in their 20s who actively sought and currently have much older partners/BFs. I'm sure that's always been a thing, but it seems to have somewhat less stigma these days.

It’s delicate. Some guys I’ve met REALLY don’t want to be thought of in any way shape or form as rent boys, and legitimately say they want richer, older boyfriends. 75% of those same guys I’ve met are ALSO all about “taking it slow.” An awfully high correlation for this to be mere coincidence. Most gay men (and really most MEN) want something if not full on sex within the first few dates. Basically a base every date or every other date at least.

Hell, when I dated WOMEN they wanted to move much faster than these “go slow” SA guys.

So I’ve lost patience and moved on a couple of times. And in each of those times, after I dumped the guy, they called or texted asking for something that would cost me money afterwards if not flat out money...to which I always reply that I WOULD be genuinely generous to an actual boyfriend...maybe that makes me a Chris Hardwick type but daddy has his needs...I feel terrible, like Muriel.

Just returned from Canada Day weekend in Montreal, with long summer days and very high temperatures day and night.

I'll admit to having had some reservations about this trip. I knew that long time favorites like Yannick would not be at Stock and Spencer performs very rarely.

Thursday at Stock was extremely quiet. Saturday was typically very busy. Friday and Sunday were both moderately busy.

There were lots of new dancers. Morgan was very good at working the crowd on stage. Franco's physique is phenomenal. Had private dances with Jaycob and Rico. Sadly, I didn't see Chris all weekend, who I missed having a dance with last year.

Joe has stopped dancing, but is now working for the club as staff and seems very happy with his new job.

I didn't have time to visit Campus, but recognized a lot of former Stock dancers hanging around outside.

The real takeaway from the trip was it looks like The Village has really turned a corner.

A few years ago The Village really looked like it was in a state of permanent decline. Last year's new openings Bar Renard and District Video lounge are going strong. There were a lot of new shops and restaurants that I didn't recognize from last year. A new diner La Dînette à Mado has opened next to Cabaret Mado. There's still a lot of vacant real estate but it isn't as noticeable.

The old Bourbon complex has now been demolished and the condo building that will replace it is marketing for pre-sales:

Look forward to returning for Labor Day weekend.

I agree. Students need a break. It's become ridiculously expensive for them. It's a good thing to do for someone and if you find the right person, they will always remember your kindness. We all get old some day and a young doctor may be just the right friend to have in your twilight years.

The site is more relationship oriented than quick-fix-sex...but I would gauge that at least 30% of the site ARE young men trying their hand at escorting. Keeping in mind that they are NOT escorts, ( yet ) so don't necessarily understand the rules of the game and are often trying to make up their own. ( Pay me to have dinner with you - you can look at my cam for $$ - I would like $ 1000 a month, but no sex ). These are the exceptions, as there ARE many nice young men on the site, who are in college and struggling to pay expenses and to my estimation miss their parents, and enjoy having someone older and more mature to guide them a bit ( while picking up the check). Transitions in life are hard..and so are the muscles on some of these guys. * enjoy *

Colombia has been an up-and-coming tourist destination for a while now. I know a number of people who have gone and had a great time. I've also been very impressed by all of those hot Colombians on chaturbate and also on the Blued app too.

As for safety, my impression is that it's reasonably safe as long as you don't do anything stupid. I believe the drug cartels are much less of an issue now than they were 20 years ago.

Montreal and Bangkok are certainly very different animals. I love Bangkok and SE Asia in general. Amazing hospitality. Great people (generally speaking). Bangkok can be chaotic, but it's having a lot of it's charm cleared away by the current government. The gogo bar street may be closed for redevelopment soon. You money can go a very long way over there.

It will be interesting to see how Chen and Zhou mature and progress. They both would seem to have a lot of potential for the next Olympics if they can stay healthy and motivated

For me the Law of the Strip Club is that the guys you are least interested in will be all over you asking for "a dance". Especially as fresh meat they will try to get you to go with them. As noted above, if you're not interested just say so early in the proceedings.

Part of the fun for me is the people watching. So I tend to hang toward the back and watch what's going on for a while. I agree also that having some one to show you the ropes can be helpful, but just by observing you will pick up a lot.

Between the two I always enjoyed Campus more. The guys were more my type and it's more intimate. Stock is enormous and just feels more impersonal in a way. But it's easy enough to try them both out.

Make sure you and the dancer are always aware of the number of songs if you do go for a private dance. I always found it helpful to keep count after each song "That's one song, right?" "That's two. How about one more?" Or if you know up front what your budget is just say so "Let's do three". I haven't been to either in a while, but from what I recall the lap dance area at Stock was more private. Others who have been recently will be better at telling you about the current state of play. A lot of what goes on in a private depends on chemistry.

it really is a weird situation that the judges and people running the sport seem to harbor a lot of homophobia. Maybe it's internalized? I guess that is changing which is a good thing. But the fact does remain that all of those guys who came out did so after their competition careers were over. It's no small thing that he and Radford are out. I suppose it also could be that they are so completely focused on training that skaters don't have time to deal with every aspect of themselves.

While he is a bit overexposed at this moment, I say good for him. He saw his opportunity and seized it. The inevitable backlash arrived with it. But he seems to have handled that pretty well. The fact also remains that these guys are better at this particular thing than 99.9999999% of people. And he's got an Olympic medal (no matter how tainted some here want to make it) which very few people have. He's put in a lot of work over a very long time to get there. I won't begrudge him that. I think he knows that the sport as competition has passed him by. He'll be popular in ice shows for a few years and then he'll need to figure out what he wants to do next.

I don't mind that he's a little girly. But I do find his supreme overconfidence a bit off-putting.

Still some exhibitionists doing it for fun but not so many. All of those sad Russian and E. European guys who seem to have no other options. But plenty of horny Colombians with their giant cocks to even things out.
