  1. A few guys having "turk" in their names have been discussed here but I don't recall seeing this guy. Sorry for not having any first-hand knowledge.
  2. Officially, On December 9, 2014, Mike Jeffries stepped down as A&F CEO due to criticism of the company's performance and 11 straight quarters of negative company comparable-store sales. The shares jumped 8 percent after the move was announced, marking the biggest one-day gain in more than nine months. (paraphrased from Bloomberg Businessweek and Fortune) The real reason is he stood too close to the fireplace and melted.
  3. In addition to having insecurities, memories, usually bad, in some people get triggered for no apparent reason. It happens to me all the time. I'll have to find the article about the guy who could remember the minutest of minute details about bad experiences dating back to childhood. If I locate it I will post a link.
  4. It appears that "Vaseline Alley" isn't an official street name. There was a proposal in the mid-2010's to hold a festival in that location, but no details on what happened to the proposal. My guess is the individual who wanted to hold the festival registered the name on Google Maps. A similar thing happened with "The Downtown Phoenix Museum of Gentrification" here in downtown Phoenix. As the Evans-Churchill neighborhood was being redeveloped into condos, office towers, and apartments, the resident of an old house called it "The Downtown Phoenix Museum of Gentrification" as a joke and registered it on Google Maps. However, they have now designated it as "officially closed." Truth is, it was never open. Here's an interesting article from Patch on WeHo street names.
  5. If he is in WeHo/LA when I visit in July might try to see him. He tends to move around at a moment's notice, so it might not work out.
  6. The link provided by the OP displays the Wikipedia page for "International Whores' Day," as it is called in France, where the commemoration originated.

  8. Totally agree, uh, who is this? Oh, yeah, @Doe Be Doe. 😛

    Of course!
  11. This. Like @Epigonos I don't have a prestige car. Mine is a Dodge Journey and I love it. It is roomy (important for someone who is 6'4"), comfortable, rides well, and has an amazing turning radius. I wanted a Jeep but despite being a beautiful car and just what I wanted, it was uncomfortable for me to drive. The Dodge is nine years old and I hope to get another 3 or 4 years out of it. Best of all, it is paid off!
  12. Probably not. His ad was hidden for quite some time (almost a year, I think) so he probably was not seeing anyone.
  13. He used to be KieranKnight. In fact, our esteemed OP, @Doe Be Doe, asked about him in this thread.

"Unavailable" refers to whether he is available to see clients during a time period. Right now (6:37 PM Arizona Time) he is no longer showing up as unavailable, but is not logged in. His last login was 53 minutes ago.
  15. Maybe I am just slow today, but the pics you uploaded to the post are of the same person as in the ad. What about his ad is a scam?
  16. I know guys charge whatever the market can bear and good for him if he can get that rate, etc. However, to me
  17. Thank you, @RadioRob. We all owe you a debt of gratitude.
  18. Millennium Park (adjacent to Grant Park on Michigan Avenue downtown) is also worth a visit. It is hard to miss - just look for the giant stainless-steel bean, a/k/a Cloudgate. Although Macy's has recently downsized its State Street store, it is also worth visiting. It's the old Marshall Field's store. Riding the escalators up and down the atrium is worth the trip. The glass elevators at Water Tower Place are also fun. I advise against riding the express elevator on a full stomach. 🤢 CTA (Chicago Transit Authority) is a great way to get around and see some great views. The view of the skyline from the northeast-bound Orange Line from Midway is stunning (particularly in the late afternoon/early evening as the sun sets) as is the view from the southbound Brown Line from the Sedgwick stop in Old Town. In fact, the Brown line is a great way to see North Side neighborhoods that you might not otherwise see. The view from a southbound Lake Shore Drive express bus is also quite nice as long as you can get a seat. Not sure what the day pass costs (I think they have reduced the price to entice folks to ride the bus and 'L') but it is a very good deal.
  19. The Museum of Science and Industry is a fun place to visit. If you like zoos then you will want to see Lincoln Park Zoo. Do you bike? If so, rent a bike and ride the lakefront bike path. You can pick it up anywhere from Hollywood Avenue south. A stroll down Michigan Avenue is a nice way to spend an afternoon if it isn't too hot and a walk down Lake Shore Drive or along the lake is nice when it is. I recommend everyone have a drink at the bar on the 95th floor of the John Hancock building. The cocktails are expensive, but they include a free view. The observatory is only a couple of floors up and charge a lot more than the price of a cocktail. And you don't get the cocktail! Not sure what kind of food you like, but some favorites include Reza's in Andersonville (Persian), Old Jerusalem (Mediterranean - owned by the third or fourth generation of the founding family) in Old Town (currently only doing take-out and delivery), Topolobampo and its older sibling Frontera Grill (Mexican) in River North, The Bagel (Kreplach? yes please!) in Lakeview, Giordano's (stuffed pizza) in just about everywhere, Lou Malnati's (deep-dish pizza, which is different than stuffed) also in just about everywhere, Star of Siam in River North, and as much as I hate recommending chains I'll make an exception and say just about any of the Lettuce Entertain You restaurants will be very good. (I have a particular fondness for Cafe Ba-Ba-Ree-Ba!, their tapas restaurant in Lincoln Park. It was one of the first nice restaurants I went to and paid for myself as a college student.) Another fave is 3rd Coast Cafe on the Gold Coast. Back in the day I'd eat three meals a day there and I suspect I'd still eat there if I lived there. If you are fan of funky diners then The Lucky Platter in Evanston can be worth a trip up north. You can take the 'L' (Red Line to Howard, transfer to the Purple Line, and get off at Main Street.) There are hundreds of other restaurants. Chicagoans like to eat, drink, and have sex. Not always in that order.
  20. I rarely heard the term "scort" until recently when a Forum member started using it ad nauseum. Would that be the lient ucking the scort's ick or the scort ucking the lient's ick? Or are they ersatile and o oth?
  21. As much as I like muscle worship, if that's all he offers I'd say he is offering a Dodge experience for that Mercedes price tag. I love my Dodge, but I paid a Dodge price for it.
  22. I'm with @latbear4blk on this one. It all just depends on the guy.
  23. If one exists, I haven't seen it.
  24. "What the hell is the matter with Brad?" might be the correct question. Apparently, an incident between Brad Pitt and son Maddox made her decide to end the marriage "for the sake of her family, " according to this article (and others that took content from an interview she granted about the topic). He certainly has. I think he looks better now than he did when he was younger.
