Just got back from tonight’s event. I left an hour early. It was a lot less busy than usual, and I’d say about 1 in 5 were reasonably attractive. At the peak, there were maybe 50 guys there. When I’ve been there before, it was around 100. I ran into a guy I’ve seen working out at my gym, and he was not very friendly. I hooked up with a stocky white guy with a hairy chest, and a good sized tool, and then a buff Asian guy who was really hot. I like all different types. But the crowd was definitely on the mature side and a lot of them were terribly overweight. One was particularly persistent, and didn’t give up trying to get my attention by grabbing my arm. I’m not in any rush to go back, I didn’t really spend any considerable amount of time with anyone, I felt like I could get just as much action in the steam room or sauna at the gym.

That is correct, you can use a locker on the premises with your own lock. I just carry my phone, enough cash, and an ID in my socks.

I’ve been on Monday nights, and it’s definitely a better crowd at the Thursday meetings. It can be hit or miss, like anything else. Some nights are hot, others not. I think I’ll go tonight, will report back.

I generally look for providers without any tattoos, or who only have one or two that aren’t enormous. One provider I was with has just one on his shoulder, and another one had a small one on the inside of his calf. Facial tattoos, full sleeves, neck tattoos, and any tattoos on the chest and stomach, when I see that, I move on.

It’s a shame because he looks hot.

I like the “guy next door” type, a decent enough body but not a bodybuilder, with a reasonably cute face, and well endowed. I would find it intimidating to be with a muscle god, and I associate that body type with a huge ego, or someone who would just go through the motions. Just my psyche, I suppose, but I feel more comfortable with someone who’s more ordinary. And I look at the size of their endowment when deciding who to hire as a provider. Nothing less than 7 for me. Also, I’m on the short side and prefer a guy under 6 feet tall.

RM not accepting Visa anymore!? What the actual f$ck?
LostUpstate replied to BuffaloKyle's topic in The Lounge
Yes, I only have Visa and American Express, so I’m no longer able to subscribe to the site. -
Did Rentmen change its layout?
LostUpstate replied to + WSPigBrooklyn's topic in Questions About Hiring
And now rentmen has stopped taking payments using a Visa card just like its sister site rentmasseur. I tried to renew using American Express, but they don’t accept it. Only MasterCard or crypto, I don’t have either, so now I don’t pay for premium membership on the sites. I don’t think it’s a good business plan. I’m not going to get a MasterCard just so I can subscribe. -
It wasn’t working on my iPad, either.

The same thing happened to me, so I canceled my account with them. I think they’re cutting off their own nose to spite their face with this bad decision.

It’s down again this morning. Every time I try to access it, it says Safari can’t access the site because too many redirects occurred, whatever that means.

I’ve also found that a lot of Korean guys are cut, I put it to the American influence as well. Interesting about Filipino guys and circumcision being a long standing cultural aspect.

I’ve only had one provider come to completion, and I’ve probably only hired about 6 or 7 guys total. It was a nice surprise when he did, and it was a geyser!

Just saw Spa Castle has reopened after many months of renovations. Looked at the website and admission has gone from $50 on weekdays to a whopping $85! Talk about gouging!

When I went, there were some hairy bears, but also hot white, Asian and Hispanic guys. I avoided the ones whom I wasn’t interested in and they left me alone. People were very respectful.

Paddles is now permanently closed, I believe. This is a much better location and space.

I went to Blow Buddies last night and I’d say there were about 60-70 guys who showed up. I got there early at 6:00 pm and then more people showed up as it continued. Very diverse types of guys, something for everyone and I’d definitely go back.

Pornstar/Escort Dominic Pacifico has terminal disease & needs help
LostUpstate replied to InterestingGuy's topic in The Deli
Horrible news, he’s one of my favorites in the porn industry, never hired him as an escort. Does anyone have a link to his GoFundMe? I assume there’s a link on his X? -
I’m not a fan of tattoos, but if they’re small and discreet, then it’s okay for me. I hired a provider who had just one on his shoulder, and another who had one on his calf. Tattoos on hands, face, neck, sleeve tattoos are a turn-off for me.

I hooked up with Jay Dymel at the now defunct West Side Club in NYC. I had no idea who he was, and then saw him online in porn after I met him. I think he was surgically enhanced, wasn’t he?
-
The article I read said that she became “unresponsive.” Could be cover-up by her P.R. team for too many prescription drugs. Never was a fan of her or her music.

He unlocked his private pics on RM without me requesting it. Has looked at my profile several times as well. Not my type though.

I highly recommend the evening cruise when you arrive, if you’re not too tired. You walk to the pier near where there’s a Costa Coffee stand (the British coffee chain) and the boats are docked there. You barter with the guys who offer cruises, it should be around 100-120 Qatari riyals, which is about $30 for a 20-minute cruise on the Gulf. The Museum of Islamic Art is beautiful, but I’m not a fan of much Islamic art. The Souq Waqif is interesting, but I’m not a big shopper, if that’s your thing, it’s worth visiting. If I’m going to shop, I prefer London and Paris, quirky independent shops and incredible menswear in London. I’m not into buying tchotchkes or gold jewelry. And what would I do with an Arab sheikh outfit? Use it for Halloween? The Pearl is interesting and there’s a little replica of Venice with canals and bridges. I also liked the Katara Towers, a really unusual piece of architecture. One side is a Raffles Hotel, and the other side is a Fairmont. Worth going inside. I stay in the West Bay because that’s where my company puts us up. I’ve traveled there on business but I’ve been lucky to have free time there.

I’ve been to Doha five times. Awesome little city with incredible modern architecture. All hotel employees and everyone who works in the hospitality industry are expats, a good deal of them come from the Philippines, India, Pakistan and various African countries. Still, I would be discreet in public. No public displays of affection, no hand holding, etc. At the hotels where I’ve stayed in the West Bay, I’ve always been amazed at how some foreigners dress- short shorts, bare shoulders, etc. On the hotel beach, some female tourists were wearing thongs. A lot of local guys go jet skiing on the Persian Gulf, and they pass by the hotel beaches very slowly to catch a look. If you have time, take a cruise on the Persian Gulf in the evening to see the skyline illuminated at night. It’s about $30 US for half an hour and it’s spectacular. In February, it should be cool enough, in the 70s. I wouldn’t do it in the summer when it’s 120°.
