What a mess. 17 cruise ships currently off Florida and not being allowed to dock. Some have only crew on board others still have passengers. Some have sick people on board. US Coast Guard no longer wants to take responsibility for evacuations nor allow docking and de-boarding. Some(Many?) of the vessels are Bahamian-flagged (even though they belong to US cruise lines) and some ships are being directed to seek help from the Bahamas. Some ships being told they may need to remain sequestered offshore indefinitely.
 
COVID-19 may destroy the cruise industry.

I think I am going on my 5th day of not leaving my house even though we are not under some of the strict shelter in place orders some areas are under. Last week I braved Costco and finished my shopping and got my prescriptions. I then filled my car with gas, stopped at the bank to get some cash (just in case) and headed home. Costco was a surreal experience, lots of stuff was sold out, but I found enough to make it work. The last item from my list that I was able to obtain was a small bottle of isopropyl alcohol (which eased some anxiety) even though it may not make that much of a difference. One sad but true experience for me there, was my absolute moment of terror whenever someone on the same aisle as me would cough or sneeze.
 
My daily routine has settled into something like this. I wake up and listen to the headlines, eat breakfast, surf the net, and watch the stock market for a while. I then go outside in my yard and pull weeds for an hour or so (OMG they never end and it seems I have enough weeds to do this for a whole month)! Next I eat lunch, play games on my phone, and more surfing on the internet. Finally, I eat dinner and then its TV/streaming time until I am ready to go to sleep. Then I wake up and start the whole routine all over again.

It can be hit and miss, particularly when you deal with automated systems - Ive had a few places identify and reject my google voice number as a ‘virtual number’. They wont use it to text me updates on deliveries or verification codes on GV. ??‍♂️

Cops in Texas use ALPRs.

Helpful advice to Brazil travelers, as well as those living or staying there for extended periods: Please be careful NOT to yield to any temptation of taking photos of and / or posting photos of guys you see or meet in Brazil without their advance consent.
 
Posting, publishing or taking photos of someone without that person’s permission is not only highly unethical, but also it is a crime in Brazil — that is enforced and is punishable by fines and jail time.
 
The law in Brazil on this subject is one of the strictest laws in the world that criminalizes, with monetary and civil penalty, posting or taking or publishing an image of a private individual without their express consent. The only 3 exceptions are for (1) public figures performing their public functions or activities (not in private life), (2) people who are present in a public space or participating in a public event (unless the depicted person is the main focus of or singled out in the picture), and (3) people related to news events of public interest (only if necessary and reasonably justified and if the reported facts are true). [ NOTE: none of these 3 exceptions would apply to escorts, sex workers, sauna workers, Grindr profiles and/or guys whose photos that you may find on social media and think they are so hot that you feel tempted to post their photos on the internet without their permission. ]
 
Even if the photo was previously taken, or was posted at another place, like that individual’s Facebook, Instagram or WhatsApp account, if you do NOT have prior authorization to post that person’s photo in Brazil, do NOT even think about posting it.
 
It doesn’t matter if the person is nude, shirtless or fully clothed. It does not even matter if your intentions were pure and innocent. If the Brazilian subject of the photo did not authorize you to post or publish the photo, then don’t do it or else you risk being criminally and civilly liable in Brazil.
 
However, if the unauthorized photo is published in a derogatory or sexual manner or at a site related to sex, sex work, or pornography (like a site such as this one, for example), that makes the likelihood of conviction even easier and the penalty even harsher.

I stumbled upon this 2018 movie on Amazon Prime and watched it last night. It’s about two guys on a road trip, starting in Berlin, who pick up a third guy along the way. There’s no plot or real story line but the sexual tension that builds up between the three of them is quite intense. There’s some amazing camera work, both in the beautiful German countryside and the bodies of the three characters ?

Always fly commercial now. Last private jet flights ended in 1998. My first PE were after a commercial flight of 90 minutes. So, I'm a

Went my Dr today. He felt the chest pain was NOT PE since it is not ong-going. Told me to keep track of chest pain / traveling. Since I'm already on blood thinners, he felt PE was not likely. But, I'm going to keep track and followup if it continues near flight times.
