Transactionally, you're essentially asking him to abstain from activity for some period before you, for, depending on how you look at it, $400 or $120.    Let's say he had, as you note, multiple encounters the prior day.    Two, maybe three - you're asking him to give up $800-$1,200 or more with no premium paid by you.    That's unreasonable in my opinion and as a capitalist who makes money with his time, I understand where he's coming from.  This is a world of unmet expectations if one is simply willing to pay average prices.   I think, as a business man, @Alex_Twink made the right call.
