I must state, and I write this to you out of respect, that you seem rather self-assured in a field where you are not an expert. If that comes off as disrespectful,  my apologies.  Tone can be challenging to convey online & I mean you no disrespect.
You stated the existence of a "national database" that I, as a physician (and all other US physicians & NPs), can access and see what meds my patients are taking. You come up with nothing but heresay nor proof of said existence.   By all means, prove me wrong. Could you link me to the login to this website? I'll register & start using it. For real. It would help my patients receive better care.
I then bring up the possibility that the database you reference is the scheduled drug database that each physician can get access to, meaning this is what you mistakenly refer to.  But these databases only contain scheduled drugs, not PrEP drugs. You are strangely silent on this. 
You then bring up that surely most physicians are linked up via our EMRs. You even bring up Epic, showing that a third of hospitals use it to support how linked up we physicians are. But I then clarified for you, with a quote from the VERY article YOU linked, that it was a survey of what EMRs hospitals use, not outpatient clinics such as what the OP uses. And Nurx is not a hospital, either. 
Can you provide that link that shows all these amazing things you say exist?  You have never been an EMR user as a physician,  so I'm quite curious to see what you know, that I do not. Please educate me. But with concrete support as I have done so with you. And I hope I offer my comments respectfully as there is no reason to fight. Debate yes, fight no.
My point to everyone reading this thread is there is some inaccurate idea among patients that the medical community here in the US is linked up in one way or another.  I sadly report to you that, no, it doesn't exist. A huge, vast majority of the time when you see your physician,  unless he/she is part of a large medical group,  the EMRs from other groups do NOT auto-communicate. I wish they did!!!  
But I offer more evidence that this flummoxing issue is resolved in that Nurx communicated directly with the OP PCP. I think the OP just forgot that he gave Nurx his PCPs name. I'm still hopeful that the OP calls his PCP tomorrow & inquires for us.

Actually,  what you can thank Trump for is a completely botched response to the COVID crisis in the early months of the pandemic.  Entirely mishandled in all respects which has resulted in the US having many of the the worst COVID statistics in the world.  Trump has the blood of hundreds of thousands of unnecessary deaths on his hands.  You can also thank Trump for a large chunk of his followers refusing to get vaccinated.  Many of them still believe that COVID is a complete hoax (just as Trump claimed many times in early 2020).  Trump owns all of that and always will.
As far as the vaccine goes, I largely thank the scientific/pharmaceutical communities.  
I still believe Canada will ultimately get a higher percentage of its population vaccinated than the US.  Just to get somewhat back on topic,  I will add that I hope the border will open to vaccinated tourists sometime before the End of September.  Maybe later this month or early in August...but that might be wishful thinking.

So of course the one thing we don’t have in this pages long thread about Cole is someone who has actually met Cole. I filmed with him for only fans. He was great. So back to the original question, unlike all the previous posters, I have actually met Cole. And so to me, you’re not criticizing some elite unknown public figure: you’re criticizing a human being I know and respect. I, too, think his ad text is problematic at best. But Cole was great in person and does not deserve to be canceled by the forum.

I"m in total agreement with you, as a healthcare professional imagine hearing that crazy anti-vaxxer logic from nurse. I was talking to my coworker and she hasn't had the flu shot in years! Nowadays if we refuse we have to be masked up the entire time we are at work. This year she's adamant that she is not getting a flu shot, but instead an excuse from her doctor that exempts her from taking it. She said that the flu shot gives her a skin rash....then she showed me pictures...it's not uticaria (hives). It's eczema, I know this because I suffer the exact same fate every time the seasons change.
 
I asked her if she would take the Covid 19 vaccine when it becomes available....and she said she didn't think that she would. I was at a loss for words. Part of me wanted to take her license, revoke it and have her go back to nursing school to learn the basics. I have a feeling if things get as bad as predicted she will probably be too frightened to even come into work.

I find it interesting that you are willing to accuse others, a medical doctor even, of being beholden to big pharma or worse...when you come across so supportive of the supplement and vitamin industry. An industry notorious for its lack of standards and transparency.

Please do your homework - every year hundreds of people end up in hospital, some even die from liver and kidney failure due to protein and other dietary supplement use. I am sure this happens in Australia as well. Please do some research before you claim zero deaths.

I'm stunned/pissed/depressed that in 4 yrs of undergrad, 2 yrs of pre-med, 4 years of medical school, and 4 yrs of residency and a fellowship and TENS OF THOUSANDS of student loans later I have NEVER heard of this. Wait, neither has ANY other legitimate physician .... in the world.

A simple google search proves you incorrect - hence my question. Australians have died from protein and dietary supplement use, just like they have in other countries.

The purpose of this thread is to provide SCIENCE-BACKED information (not personal opinions) and encourage people to get the Flu shot because of the great risk people take at not getting vaccinated while the world is going through the COVID Pandemic. If we didn't have the Pandemic the situation would be different. IRRESPONSIBLE unvaccinated people infected with the Flu and COVID at the same time could increase the transmissibility of COVID and possibly become hosts of unknown interactions between the 2 viruses while the spread continues around the world.
 
If you are not getting the Flu shot ok it's your decision but STOP making controversial comments trying to influence people not to get their Flu shots here as this thread is NOT A DEBATE. Well under half the people who should get the flu shot do so. That makes the number of fly cases vastly higher than they would be if everyone got the shot, because full vaccination even when the vaccine isn't perfect, breaks up chains of infection.

You guys love harping on about personal choice! Will you take responsibility for the outcome of your personal choice? What if that personal choice results in a public health emergency?
 
You choose not to get the flu vaccine. You get the flu and spread it to your elderly aunt Joan. She visits her friend Sarah in a retirement village. Sarah spreads it to her friends during communal meals. 50 people die - you are the source of their illness AND responsible! How do you feel about that? Will you attend all 50 funerals and explain your personal choice to their families?

I guess certain diseases are more important to some then others. Right now, as I have to go in an treat patients dying of this disease, they do not think it is nothing. Just as in 1983 when I went in to treat patients with AIDS and people were ignoring it, they did not feel it was nothing though they did think the deniers thought the victims were nothing. They said it only killed gays or it only killed the right people.

Hopefully you will not get this acute disease that so far, does not let the people live until there is a truly successful treatment. We are doing better with the people that are getting very sick. Some of them only stay in the hospital for a week or two. But hey, two weeks of gasping for breath out of lifetime is nothing,.
And that is 100000 in the US with social isolation, the toll would be much higher otherwise and the worldwide total is going to be more than a million. But hey out of 7 billion, one million is nothing to you I guess.
