Please realize that I’m not "whore shaming" anyone. I love sex, and I have it 
as often as I can with as many different partners as I can. Nonetheless, we
need to be honest with ourselves and the risks we expose ourselves to.

Had a scare once when a provider notified me that he had been exposed and therefore I had been exposed to an STD.  I thanked him for the heads-up, got tested, waited 10 days, got tested again, but nothing came from it.  Ultimately it is up to you to protect yourself by taking the necessary precautions.
