Changes to websites might be well intentioned but designers don’t seem to appreciate the value of familiarity. The text book example is Planet Romeo. The “new” Romeo is now years old but for the life of me I still can’t get used to it.

São Paulo is one of my favourite cities too. I am at least consoled by the fact that the new Lagoa is a viable proposition. I have incredibly fond memories of the old Lagoa. How do compare the old and the new?

I am in Zurich at the end of August for a couple of weeks so any visitor reports, comments, recommendations most welcome. My first overseas trip for a couple of years (for obvious reasons) so I am determined it will be a success. After Zurich off to London.
