So I’m going to venture slightly off topic from the op’s original post. That’s only because I think it’s a little warranted.

I always say if you’re unsure of something, ask.

I know it can be annoying going through a myriad of ads trying to figure out what is what. However, just asking the working guy will end the frustration much quicker. And if he/she doesn’t respond or is vague move on. Getting frustrated and venting on these forums about it won’t end whatever level of frustration you have. It won’t change the general practices of searching and hiring until the profession is regulated. I don’t think that will happen in our lifetime in this country.

I’ll tell you one thing for sure, sometimes asking (and asking at the right moment or even the right way) yields surprisingly positive results when you think someone is strictly a top, strictly a bottom, or somewhere in between. :)

I said this on the first page, but hey, isn't it so much easier taking random opinions from people with no dog in the fight? :)

Communication. It's simple. Just ask.

I see why you do it. But before getting to you, I ask one verse top, and he said, “no I only top.” I asked another, and he said, “ yeah if you pay me double.” And I get the same responses over and over again, so by the time I came to you, I stopped asking. And I’m not lying, those were constant replies.

You said it’s more important to maintain bottom clients. Fare enough. But by the vary nature of that response, tells me that my business is not as important anyway.

No I didn't mean that Top clients were not as important. I re-read my comment and I NEVER stated "it's more important to maintain bottom clients" as you accused me. Sorry you had your bad experience. :-( And sorry you translated my comment like that. :-( I design my ad the best I know how to express what I'm into. Now others that mentioned escorts that lie...on the flip side that makes the job of other escorts like myself...who are truthful...makes our job alot harder too. So the original question was what does Vers Top mean. I guess to everyone it is diffent. I was expressing what it means to me. And why I label myself the way I do. The phrase VersTop to me means I am Vers and yes I Top. But everyone is different. So just ask. It takes a couple of keystrokes to ask. Or read their ad. As some of us (like myself) clearly state what we are into. Yes some lie. I feel the majority do not lie though. So don't let a few bad apples sour you. :)

We're acting as if there are these firm rules in place on any of this. Haven't we learned by now that everything is gray area? ;)

As with any communication, just ask the guy what he's into, tell him what you're into and see if you can't rub two sticks together to make fire.

If his version of things are different than yours, no harm-no foul. At least you know beforehand.

I agree! Just ask what he is into. Or heaven forbid read his ad. LOL!

@KazBrawley, I say put yourself as Versatile, and clarify in the body of your profile you’re into doing both equally.

I think there should be an alliance between Escorts and Clients. Escorts should be honest in their profiles about what they are actually willing to do, and any caveats to be known. Clients should read Escorts profiles as written and not read into what is not there, are try to persuade variations! Wouldn’t that make things better?

Asking people to read our ad!!!!? Not just look at our pictures.... Oh that's alot to ask! LOL jk Seriously though I agree! Being honest would make a client's job life alot easier and make our jobs as Escorts soooo much easier. Constantly having to deal with people that don't believe our ads cause of another escort that lied...it gets exhausticating sometimes. lol

asking is the problem. in my experience they always say they btm when u ask and then when it's time they suddenly top only. As a top, best politics is find escorts that from the start say btm or vers, and avoid the top/vers.

Well maybe it’s a problem you’re encountering regularly. I don’t. Since I’ve been doing this hobby (almost 10 years or so) only one guy ever has told me one thing and lied about what he was willing to do when we met. It was rather early on and he was using fake pics to boot.

Now I’ve had guys worry about taking me when they see my dick, but after a few assurances that I’m not the jackhammering type, I’ve had no problems... even from guys listing as tops.

can you please tell me the exact definition of versatile/top

I was under the impression that it means bottom too but I contacted a guy that advertised that and he told me he is all top

Thanks[/QUOTe]

Could mean that he's top for anal and vers for oral. My understanding, for example, of a total top is that hes both anal and oral top.
