LOL . . . but the entire room had beautiful wood paneling with fancy moldings. There was a hollow area behind one panel and PRESTO! - pushed on it and another marble bathroom appeared.

Ah Please add that to my thread on secret rooms. It is hard to imagine that it would be designed so that the toilet is difficult to locate. Seems like a good idea to have that particular room easily accessible.

I have stayed at the following hotels and while not 5-Star they both delivered on charming relaxation.

 

Petley’s Inn in Lamu, Kenya

The New Stanley Hotel in Nairobi, Kenya

 

I think the New Stanley was bought out but retained Stanley in the name. Great outdoor cruising outdoor cafe at this hotel.
