What would everyone like to accomplish in 2006? Mind you, these are not resolutions, as I generally think New Year's resolutions are for people who lack motivation.

Mine, in no particular order:

*Hopefully I will get into my school of choice in the fall. If I don't, I would like to do something productive with the year that I will have off. Maybe get TEFL certification or something similar.

*To make my trip to France successful - Improve my French and make some awesome friends.

*Not to let my friendships in LA suffer because I will be gone for so long.

*Actually start composing on the piano, just to see if I can do it.

*To be healthier - That means less smoking, maybe more yoga, more water. I'm older now and these things are going to start to matter.

Best wishes to all my friends and fellow posters in the new year.

Great topic Bobby. Here are mine, also in no particular order.

- Get my tennis game back into match-play shape, with a goal of playing a couple of low-level events this year. Also fitness-related, learn to play Australian Rules Football; it looks like a blast and they have great uniforms.

- Clear much of the backlog on my "to read" list. I'd like to zero it out, but I know that's not going to happen.

- Finalize my academic plans for the next term. Should I stay in this program or move on?

- Get a new car. My gas-guzzler isn't doing it for me. After many years in NYC, I had forgotten how important a good car can be.

I have planned a 15 state tour of the US in 06. My goal is to play with Hooville's best of the best. I have made my list, and checked it twice, and I'm gonna find out who's naughty and/or nice. }(

This is the last Hoorah of my fading youth. I'm 39, yet still feeling mighty fine. This is the year I join the 40 something crowd, and I intend to have a blast every day along the way. I decided to tour the US this year, feasting on Hoo's finest, when I will appreciate it the most, rather than postpone it too far out when I might not be able to enjoy the ride. :D

Hey Jawjateck, don't worry about that "fading youth". At 43 I can honestly say I am having the best time of my life. Of course if I knew in my 20's what I know in my 40's .....ah, well...they would have been a hell of a lot more fun that's for sure. }(

I have found my forties to have been absolutely the best years of my life so far. At 39, you have very much to look forward to.

My goals are fairly simple for 2006.

To keep on traveling and finally make it to Rio.

To do something special for my Birthday this year since I'll be hitting the big 5-0.

Spend a bit more time with my 2 kids and my new grandson.

To keep on dragging myself to the gym and to spend abit more time there than last year.

I'm going to continue on my goal from previous years and that is to eradicate the world of bad head. Hopefully, when I'm through teaching everyone how to suck cock, the words, "Hey, watch the teeth!" will never have to be uttered again. Just call me the Mother Theresa of Fellatio. :p
