I have seen more pictures of escorts etc and find that more and more are totally clean shaven in the groin area..... Are there any statistics available as to the popularity of total shaving now. I have watched numerous sites such as this one and others---and the popularity is increasing ...Correct?

I do like my men natural! As they were born.

If naturally hairy, be hairy. If NATURALLY smooth, that is fine:) They will still have a treasure trail and pubes!

No need to shave other than face.

Why, OH WHY, do HOT men want to shave their pubes and look like they haven’t reached puberty yet?

As I said, I like my men as they were born! NATURAL.

I find muscular or just very fit men who are shaved to be an incredible turn on. To each his own. ;-)

Once, while on a trip to China, I had occasion to shop in various stores. One of the stores was a meat market.

In the meat market, I saw lots of dead chickens with feather plucked off, hanging from an overhead wire. The plucked chicken heads were aiming downward.

Seeing dead, plucked chickens, with their plucked heads and plucked bodies hanging down, reminded me (and it still does) of a pubic shaved guy.

Needless to say, I am not in favor of shaving the pubic area.

Isn't is wonderful that we all like different things?

The aversion to body hair, in both sexes, does seem to be increasing. Some have claimed that the cosmetic removal of men's body hair, not only in the pubes but even on the arms, is a sign of the feminization of men by women who are uncomfortable with men's body hair as a symbol of brute masculine dominance.

Besides YOU, who actually said this?

I've never been with a guy that shaved off all his pubes. Now trimming is a must. If I go down on someone and come out with pubes you could use for dental floss it's a no go for me.

I got together with this married guy recently. Good looking but I've never seen pubes that long. They were bigger then his cock is all I remember. It was gross and I ended it.

I don't know. I remember reading it in a sports commentary somewhere when Andre Agassi (a pretty hairy guy) shaved his arms, and the commentator noted that he wasn't the only athlete to have done that, because young women preferred men who looked like boys, because they found them less threatening, and some other people piped up to agree with that, referencing the teeny-bopper boy band idols. It made a kind of pop-psych sense to me.

I wonder what "they "say about competitive body builders who shave there bodies? Are they less threatening and more feminine as well? IMHO hair has nothing to do with ones masculinity the same way being a top or bottom has nothing to do with it. And it's funny, based on the two quotes I copied, I bet none of the anti-gay, homophobes are inferring that these women are pedophiles preying on young boys but I bet my family jewels they infer it /say it about gay men.

Why is there even a debate over this. Some people (me) absolutely love the shaved/smooth look and other absolutely detest it. We are all different that's one of the great things that makes life interesting. Unfortunately there are individuals in places of power that can't and won't accept, embrace, or coexist with these wonderful glorious differences.. How sad is that? Liking smooth/shaved guys doesn't define me and I'm absolutely not looking for some prepubescent boy or feminine man to have sex with. I prefer shaved, trimmed where ever my mouth might land because I detest getting hair in my mouth.

Another point is I'm willing to wager that more guys than not wish their penis was bigger. Shaving/trimming is a good way to achieve that optical illusion if that's something you want. If not that's great. We are a diverse, interesting, crazy and awesome planet of individuals .

Everyone have yourself a Merry Little Christmas, Let your heart be light... and check out John Batiste performing "Winter Wonderland" last night on Colbert I thought it was pretty awesome. I need to start listening to Jazz. Didn't even know I liked it.
