Escorts who gossip about famous clients: are they bragging or lying?

Have you ever asked an escort about a famous client? Or been unable to stop an escort before he told you?

Inspired by @WilliamM

A few escorts told me about seeing a neighbor of mine. I never called them again... I'm sure they told my neighbor about me too.

Escorts who gossip about famous clients: are they bragging or lying?

a) Escorts have never told me about a neighbor, or even the names of any of their clients.

b) The major exception was someone who was retiring and talked about his life in general. The celebrity he mentioned would not surprise anyone on this site. And even if the name had been a surprise, it was a private conversation. I certainly knew enough not to repeat the name.

c) Everyone already knows I am gay, so it would not bother me much if an escort mentioned my name occasionally

I think people are curious about gossip and dirt, of course.....

already knowing it was a taboo and very private subject, I once forged ahead and asked a favorite provider if he'd seen anybody well-known.....after some hemming and hawing, the provider very seriously admonished me that it's a sensitive subject and that I shouldn't be asking.....I knew that, of course, but, you know, curiosity and all that.............

I was really only testing him because, being famous and all, I wanted to make sure he wouldn't talk about me to others

I’ve sold your story to TMZ. I hope you don’t mind...

I think it's almost like a code of honor among client and escort not to discuss or reveal personal history regarding anyone. I have revealed to very select escorts other escorts I have been with. Not sure if that's bad form. But I'm always amazed by the 6 degrees of separation

What constitutes a famous client? I could see what others would consider to be the most well known people, and I wouldn't have a clue or care. I'll never forget the "Surreal Life" episode where Vanilla Ice was having a shit fit at Ron Jeremy for not knowing by name alone who the most famous BMX biker of the time was. To help make my point, Vanilla Ice is a rapper, while Ron Jeremy is a former (?) porn star, and to this day I am unable to name any BMX bikers :D.

Good point, in this city everybody is a somebody, they might even believe it.

Generalites are fine; specifics not so much. I live in a complex with over 230 units, and I would be surprised if I was the only ONE hiring. Usually it is escort says something like, oh, you are at XXXX name at building, do I still need to part... or would you mind if I text you when I am visiting another client. Still dont know the clients are and not really curious.

Worst case for me so far was hiring an escort who had a friend (also an escort) in the building. Smiled, said hello, and acknowledged with each other without comments while in the elevator. Nevertheless, I wouldn't have been surprised if hired escort let neighbor escort that I hired him.

Isn’t it always a private conversation?

Irrespective of how unsurprising the revelations are, it's indiscreet and boastful. "Look who I know!"

You were not there. He was talking about his years as an escort, just before retirement. If I had know what he was going to say, I might have reacted differently. The comment was absolutely not meant as "Look who I know!"

Escorts who gossip about famous clients: are they bragging or lying?

If you know someone famous, it's normal/natural to want to tell people. I would suspect some escorts want to get the cache for being with someone famous. It's a violation of the great need for discretion in our hobby, so I wouldn't hire that escort again. In some ways, I think it being hired by someone famous would be like a client hiring a famous escort/porn star - something you would want to talk about. I could easily see an escort, especially a new one, lying to make them look more desirable. I don't think its wise, but I could see it happening.

In this forum, those of use who are clients can brag about some of the great escorts we have seen. A nice outlet :)

A couple of my regulars have said things like "I have another regular who is ill just now", that being so generic that it tells me nothing. So I don't think it's any breach.

I have been told by more than one escort about famous hires. I have not asked and I assumed that as they offered this information without being coerced and without proviso of confidentiality, that I could report that information here if I so desired.

And I would, even with the likelihood of being called a gossipy queen with nothing better to do than to stick my nose in other people's sex lives, but one of the celebrities is a woman, and that would hold little interest for most of the people on this forum and the other is an action movie star and while I have heard of him and perhaps even seen a movie of two of his, I tend to get him confused with another action star and even now I am not sure which one is the one that was a client. There have been other occasions in which the names were given to me in confidence, as I am sure those names were given in confidence to a score of other clients.

Sod decoding purplekow's blind item...action movie stars who may have been confused...

The Rock vs. Vin Diesel? (obviously Vin Diesel)

Chris Evans vs Chris Pine? (prob Chris Pine)

Patrick Swayze vs Kurt Russell?

I can't really think of too many action stars that people might mix up....
