WORKING at Palm Springs Weekend 2018????

This is great that gentlemen providers are listing that they will be attending PS weekend. If a client will not be bringing an escort for an extended period of time, there will be some that would love to have come company while they are there. However, it is all about information and who might be available. I believe that providers would do themselves good by just letting everybody know that they will be there and that they can be contacted to get info about what days/times they might be available. Some guys even stay after the Weekend is actually over and things can be worked out for those times too. So maybe all the providers can just use this thread to insert a post letting everyone know they will attend and the best way to be contacted, e.g., through email on Rent.men or whatever. Thanks.

Noting @GregM's suggestion that we pass Christmas before talking more about this, but also bearing in mind that people need to book now to make sure of flights and hotel reservations! There will be a number of working guys there for the weekend, but many, like Kurtis won't be going. Most who plan to go will post somewhere that they will be there. Some of those who go will be there with a client who pays for their travel and the whole time, others will be there on the strength of some pre-bookings and some will go there to make themselves known. In all cases, if a guy will be there, ask him. The worst that can happen is that they will say no. Even if they are booked out, you will be able to talk to them at the functions and work out whether you want to arrange to meet them somewhere else. I made one hire that I had arranged more than a month out, but I chatted with him at the functions and at the Canyon Club during the rest of the time, and also chatted with others (and I'm sure I could have arranged time with some of them). It's flexible and informal, the working guys know they are marketing to a greater or lesser extent. It all works well. But of course you can contact them and arrange meetings beforehand. Just ask.

This is particularly true because the Coachella Music Festival will also be held the same weekend. It brings in thousands of people who may be looking for lodging. So prearranging a place to stay is always a good idea. You can always cancel later if you want to (but make sure you check the policies of the hotel about it). Hopefully escorts will let it be known in this very thread that they will be there and we salivators can contact them about what their plans are or make our plans with them. The main plan is just to have a good time.

Now just a thought, as this is going to be my first time and I am not confident at all of what I am about to write.

 

I understand the gathering purpose is primarily socializing and getting to know in person the disgusting people hidden behind our avatars. We happen to be renters and companions, therefore some deals will be made in the process. My point is: if your fantasy of PS is an orgy with all your favorite escorts that will line up at doors coming from all over the country, you will be disappointed.

Well, not sure I would describe myself as disgusting. Maybe a little ripe. The primary purpose of the Weekend is as a meet and greet for everybody that takes part in Daddy's. Of course, some escorts attend and are more than welcome to. And as pointed out, they attend in various stages of companionship. My experience has not been of an orgy but I may have been going in and out of the wrong doors. Because the escorts are people, the Weekend also serves as a chance to meet them in the flesh and get to know them as individuals. As you say, however, you should not have any expectations (unless you have set something up with an escort beforehand). Then again, in life good, enjoyable things happen.

Quite so, it is for socialising. People chat, people hire, people just enjoy themselves. It ain't no orgy.

Having attended, what's most surprising is how nice and cordial everyone is. Online personas tend to melt away, and what is left are a bunch of gentlemen that are as courteous and accommodating as anyone could possibly imagine.

I am planning to be there and will certainly be taking appts. I'm hoping to stay at the condos where I normally stay (a friend manages a few and usually hooks me up with one), however I'm concerned there might not be any available. I might book something elsewhere as a back up plan.

I'll be there! I'm staying at INNdulge 4/12-17. I turn 40 on April 5, so I'll still be celebrating :)

 

All of my available appointments are currently taken. I did leave free time to attend the social events and have some chill time with folks. I'm considering extending my trip - I used to live in PS and enjoy the city a lot.

 

Also, I'll have a car in PS and will happily cart people around as I'm able. You'll have to listen to my music, though.
