This happened years ago. There is a beauty college in town; they do haircuts. My father visited me just after getting a haircut at the beauty college. He was really happy with it. He highly recommended the beautician.

 

So I go there and ask for the beautician he saw. It seemed the local high school football team was there. I sat down in a row of jocks. The girl goes down the line calling my name. She sees all these handsome young men and then I answer. I could see the disappointment in her face when she saw me.

 

I can imagine some escorts having that experience when they meet some clients for the first time.

A hairstylist's #1 concern is her income from tips. Maybe the jocks were known as. good tippers, which they often are. Or maybe she was tired and was getting ready to go home or take a break, and was disappointed to see that she had one more client. Both of these explanations seem more plausible to me.
