That is a valid concern.

Political views should not be injected into business advertisements.

However, the topic always comes up so I felt the need to clarify up front that I tend to be more on the conservative side.

The topic always comes up when I'm meeting people because it such a hot topic these days.

So instead of being two-faced or having to face a confrontation in person I thought it would be more appropriate to mention it in the ad. Unfortunately, I see that backfired.

I would also like to point out that because I am a Christian, I tend to be considered more conservative.

However, in my Christian circles, I tend to be labeled a liberal for obvious reasons.

I would label myself as a Liberal Christian and a Political Moderate. I also have many Post Modernist, New Evangelical and New Age Spiritual Views. As many of you know, I study the book "A Course In Miracles".

As a Christian, I cannot condone all of the President’s behavior.

However, as a fiscal conservative, I saw no other alternative.

I personally support Most of the President's agenda. (key word: MOST).

However, When it comes to mistreating people of other races and religions I strongly protest his agenda.

I am extremely open minded to people of a different race or religion.

As for my vote, I consider myself to be a pragmatist, so I believe in coming up with the most practical solution that is a balance between the most realistic and the most idealistic concerns of the time.

I also would not consider myself to be a Republican or a Democrat.

I believe in balance of power between the parties.

I did vote for Obama during the previous Presidential election.

I admire President Obama's behavior more than any President I have seen in History, but I did not support everything his agenda stood for.

To make a long story short, I believe that The most pressing concerns of these next four years are unemployment and the United States’ economy.

I studied Economics in College, and I keep up with the Economic News regularly.

This is why I chose to vote for the party that favored American nationalism at this point in time.

Having said that, I do believe that we need to embrace international globalization and more liberal policies too.

After eight years of liberal policy, I believe the pendulum needed to swing more right.

Like I said, I'm not a Republican or a Democrat.

So in four years, I may choose to vote for a more liberal president.

I have always considered myself to be a bisexual man.

I may choose to marry a male sometime in the future, so of course I backed gay marriage.

I also would like to point out that there were some influential Gay Republicans who helped push through Gay Marriage Legislation, and I think we owe them some gratitude.

Having said that, At this point in US History, I don't think we need more gay rights.

I am more concerned with Unemployment and GDP.

Like I said before, I believe the most pressing concerns are the United States are the economy and jobs.

That is simply my opinion, but I agree with you that they should not be put in a business advertisement.

So in the future, I will leave my political views out of my ad.

I would also ask that if you do meet me, and you do not agree with my political views, that you don't bring up the subject unless you enjoy intellectual debate (which I do).

I enjoy intellectual debate on the subject if you're capable of doing that without getting upset.

I might also add that some of my closest clients that I keep in touch with regularly are on the liberal side.

We often argue.. but in a peaceful manner

Thank you for a well thought out reply and I applaud you for being true to yourself. I would disagree respectfully that we don’t need more gay rights. There are still no protections in employment, however many cities and corporations have adopted it as policy. I too consider myself a moderate/centrist and tend to be fiscally conservative, but am curious if you find that the value has gone by the wayside with both parties? The next year should be interesting as there are a wide array of candidates to listen too. Should you make it to Charlotte sometime I would be honored to have a friendly discussion followed by some sweaty extracurriculars with you.

Just making my contribution. I hardly ever get to travel anymore (long story and not relevant anyway), so I've been stuck with my home base hiring city of New Orleans, Louisiana for quite some time. A couple of days ago, Grayson showed that he'd be traveling to New Orleans arriving on December 6, 2019. I decided to make a request to view his private photos because, being blunt, he appears WAY, WAY above the "established" New Orleans market, from which I've refrained from hiring for several years now. He didn't approve the opening of the private pics, and I see he no longer has plans to visit the Big Easy (I'll assume that's why he didn't agree to release his private photos to me).

Anyway, knowing zilch about him, I decided to perform a search on this site to see if anything came up (the collective resources of all members and the findings that result from making similar past searches has never failed to astound me!). From reading the posts on this thread, I actually would have been more inclined, not less, to hire him; however, anyone who reads any of my past reviews (granted, they're all old at this point because I hire so rarely now) knows that I'm not a reliable source for reviews because I seek such a highly-specialized niche which certainly isn't the norm for a typical client.

Oh well, I'll just have to wait a little longer until someone else similar to Grayson (i.e. not tattooed up to wazoo -- one provider in New Orleans looks GREAT, if one could just remove all that ink that he even has curling around his fingers and wrists -- not some "muscle god," and not having beards or long hair) surfaces. I was heartened by a recent post entailing whether members' hiring propensities have been reduced and so many posters indicated they had indeed reduced their hiring as a result of the trends just referenced. It was certainly comforting to find out that I am obviously far from alone in not being a fan of those now-dominating trends among providers.

Well I tried to hire him for an overnight in Florida recently. He was impossible to deal with about arrangements including requirement for deposit via some app I have never heard of. Decided to pass.

So . . . I think I've been blocked by him. First time ever. We talked about 6 months ago when he was back in LA via text, and we had a misunderstanding about his ability to accommodate some of my requests, but as far as I knew, we left it off fine . . . then I have him on my RM buddy list and click on it occasionally when he's heading back to LA - but just this morning - boom. Have no idea why (no communication more recent than 6 months or so). Guess I'll let it go. ;)

Uh ... he listed his age as 24??

Escorts age like dogs 1 year = 7.

Maybe you weren't pro-American and Christian enough for his requirements.

@DaveOrDavid What's name is he using now?

Actually, I used to see him regularly, and he told me he was 36. That was several years ago. He still looks good so he can get away with fibbing about his age. The problem for me was having to listen to his political and religious rantings. He can control it for awhile, but sooner or later it all comes out.

I love it when gay men (escorts or hiring guys) try to out Christian, out conservative and out family values others yelling "baby killers" and "I support the troops", etc.

Calling Dr. Freud!

Res non verba! (deeds/acts not words)

I just hope he has saving for this 2 months (at least) and for his retirement whenever he stops looking as good as he does now.

"I am more Conservative than most of the other models. I am a Christian, and I am Pro-American. So if you don't like that then we probably are not a good match".

"I am mostly conservative in lifestyle and political views. However, I am extremely open minded. I believe in judging everyone at face value and not on past associations. I ask that you judge me at face value also."

So if you consider this a sales pitch, it’s working for me! I’ve never seen this in an escort ad, but it’s very refreshing. When you are an out, Christian, conservative you learn that often its best to keep your mouth shut! If I hired GraysonX, I wouldn’t need to. No, I don’t anticipate jumping right into a political conversation, but it’s nice to know how to go if needed.

I’m not confrontational, at all! It is easier to mildly agree with someone than jump into a fight with a stranger. Of course, I won’t agree with someone when it’s against my core values of sexuality or Christianity. But, I also know a single conversation with a total stranger will change no one’s mind.

My Cents...

Same experience and demanded a pic. I smell a flake.

Sounds jaded... at least he removed his comments in his ad about being a patriotic (pro American) and Christian pornstar and get along only with similar type of men.
