I think dicker & dicker supplied furs. I was thinking of someone else for jewelry.

I think you are correct and I remember the entire panel of celebrities joining Gene Rayburn in saying "Dick-Her and Dick-Her of Beverly Hills."

If I may be so bold as to add a part 2 question... What was the jewelry company Spiegel so often used as the source of gifts to female contestants?

That I can't remember the name of the company is driving me mad. I think they claimed to make fine costume jewelry.

I loved To Tell the Truth and What's My Line. The panelists were the big draw for me. Their wit and sophistication is sadly lacking in today's celebrities.

If you get the BUZZR channel, they have a 2-hour block of To Tell The Truth, What's My Line and I've Got a Secret from 1-3pm weekdays Central Time

Wasn't Van Cleef and Arpels. It wasn't nearly so upscale. Hints: 2 words, female name.

Just guessing, maybe Sarah Coventry?

There was an email floating around years ago with Paul Lynde's funniest answers on Hollywood Squares. Those were the days. I was still a kid, I got NONE of those jokes.

Funniest line that I remember Paul Lynde saying on Hollywood Squares:

Peter Marshall: "Is it true that the ancient Greeks used to fight naked?"

Paul Lynde: "Yes, that's true - and whoever said that War is hell?"

Ding ding ding! We have a winner! Sadly, Sarah Coventry went out of business years ago so I don't have a prize for you. Well, other than bragging rights. Well done!

I remember Chicago 60609. Maybe in week or so I'll remember the jewelry company. Which game show had stuff from the Looms of Mohawk? And who always got 12 (or was it 6) dozen beautiful long stemmed red roses?
