How to Choose an Escort?

Howdy, y'all! Been lurking for a short while and am impressed with the many helpful and thoughtful posts by escorts and clients, especially for guys like me who are M/M newbies.

Only an encounter can answer most of my questions, but I'm faced with "How to choose? (in Dallas)" I want someone who is as kind and thoughtful as the guys on this board and who can take charge. But, I don't know how you figure this out from the RM ads (especially since there is no substance to their reviews).

I'm attracted to smooth or shaved guys but a bit scared of the bodybuilder/jock ads. Does alpha male mean impatient and forceful? I get that they are proud of their bodies (from the zillion pictures of their muscles), but is that the only aspect of their personality? I'd really rather my first experience not be with someone with the brain of a turnip.

Waittaminit, am I thinking too hard? Wouldn't be the first time, lol!

To summarize.

I agree with @Kufrol , @OliverSaks is an excellent choice. You can also PM him here in the forum, as he is an active participant.

 

If he is not a match for you, I advise you:

 

  1. Choose no more than five guys from rent.men or adam4adam
  2. Open a thread in the Deli, the subject can be for instance 411 on Dallas
  3. Paste the links to the profiles in your opening message
  4. Wait for feedback
  5. With or without feedback start communicating with your candidates.
  6. Make your choice

Hi. Newbie here as well. I recently had my first escort experience and had a very good time. I would say that the most important thing after making contact, you have to communicate exactly what you want and do not want. As the client, you define the parameters of the encounter, even if you want him to take charge. Tell him exactly what that means to you. Look at his reviews. It won't guarantee a good encounter, but will show patterns (good and bad). I'm like you spending too much time over-thinking it to the point that I would talk myself out of doing anything for a long time. When I finally took the plunge, I had a great encounter. Now I'm looking for my next.

 

I'm guessing that you should be able to search this site and find good recommendations for Dallas.

Try to avoid that. Its natural. But it can undermine follow-through.

 

All of the other advice posted is excellent. Because I didnt see it referenced, I hope you're checking Daddys reviews, not just RM and this forum.

It doesn't have to. It may in hookup apps but not so much for escorts. The smart guys (and if they are successful they are smart) know that the alpha/jock image is their selling point but that they need to be able to deliver it when needed, not all the time. They will be able to sense how much of the machismo you want and adjust accordingly. As others have said, check the Daddy's Reviews (top left of the screen) and post 411 requests if you want more information from us here. Also, contact an escort you like and talk to them. I've had some great conversations in here with guys who were happy to chat, and encouraged but didn't expect a meeting.

I would do a search for any discussions that has been had about any escort you are thinking about. If you get close to choosing a guy, PM any guy who has seen the escort you choose and see if he will discuss exactly what his experience has been like and what the escort has been willing to do. That does not mean that you do not have to also approach the escort about the same subject but you will feel a lot more comfortable about it if you have already been told he does certain things.

Pick a handful of potentials. Limit yourself to that. You don't have to filter out Jocks, unless you hate the Jock look. You don't have to filter out Muscle Guys, unless you don't care for that look. They are salesmen, so they are showing what they think is the best picture that highlights their best image. (If a guy is just showing a cock pic, then that's probably all he wants to show you.)

 

Do a search of their reviews (and there are several places for reviews).

Cross off the list anyone you feel gives you an uneasy feeling.

 

Send each of them a message. Include that you saw them on whichever site, you are new to this, and you're interested in setting an appointment for (pick a day/time). Most escorts, who have experience, are chameleons and can adapt their time to fit your needs/desires.

 

A good escort will lead the conversation to bring out the details.

Nothing is perfect or all inclusive, and, Daddy's is probably the BEST service for reviews (don't mind me while I shamelessly plug Daddy's).

1. Squeeze the flesh lightly. It should be firm but supple.

2. Do the smell test. It should be fruity and fresh, not moldy and dank smelling.

3. Origin is important. Is he a local boy? Just in from Cali? Or imported from South America? Try to pick where escorts are in season.

4. Consider prep time. Are you using him right away, or at some point later. Remember freshness is essential.

5. Clean up time must factor in. Will a simple change of sheets suffice? Or will you have to call Service Pro for commercial cleaning of carpets and drapes.
