And I finally started. Grab the lube, ladies, I start celebrating tomorrow.

Did you read the whole disclosure? I think it said something about abnormal dreams. I've had more vivid dreams, but that's the only side effect I could attribute to it, everything else has been normal.

I did not read it. Abnormal dreams is not necessarily a bad thing.

I developed a deep fatigue - couldn't handle it after four or five weeks and stopped. After a few months I decided I was going to tough it out no matter what. My doc thought that I would go through the fatigue thing again, but I was just a little sleepy for a few days and no problems after that.

I've been on it for about a year and a half, and haven't had any problems. The only thing I hate is that even though I'm going to the gym regularly, I can't take creatine, because the two together are too hard on my kidneys. But other than that, it's been great.

I had to google creatine. Why would you take creatine?

Well, obviously, he wants to facilitate recycling of his adenosine triphosphate. It is much less wasteful than using new adenosine triphosphate every time! Think about our Nation's rivers and streams. And the birds that drink from them.

I'll bet you don't recycle your grocery bags, do you?

Of course, I am kidding. Although my dreams are only slightly more unusual and vivid since starting PrEP, my sarcasm has been through the freakin' roof!

I took it because it really seemed to help with my workouts, both with strength and muscle growth. Unfortunately, when I had my quarterly labs done, I found that it also drove my creatinine levels through the roof. I couldn't keep taking them both, so I had to choose which one to stop taking. A very easy decision. :)

Maybe I am too high, but if your creatine levels are high, that means you do not need the extra creatine, right?

Taking creatine does elevate your serum creatinine, but that doesn't mean your kidneys are stressed.

Rather than stopping creatine you need an alternate test of kidney function that isn't thrown off by the creatine supplement.
