Has anyone been? Thinking about trying something new. Can anyone share their experience or offer any tips?

Thanks

New Hope is a Quaint lil gay friendly town with a main street right off the river - with cute shops - antiques - cafes - restaurants - a regional theatre company - ALL Gay Friendly --- The Gay Bar Hotel is the RAVEN outside of town about 10 minutes with a great seasonal pool pool bar - snack bar -- then Inside Bar - Piano bar - Formal Dining Room -- all newly redone hotel rooms and plenty of crusing at night behind the hotel/motel or just leave your curtains open --- l

On the the other side of the River is Lawrenceville NJ -- similar - makeup with a great out door flea market and mre upscale restaurants == Boat Rides on the Delaware --

Plent to see and do nearby == Wineries = Antiques Shoppes = Inns -- History -- Botanicals -- Etc.

Not an Escort Market in itself --- But most guys from Philly -- the 3 from Trenton - and others from NJ and NYC - would enjoy a trist in New Hope ---

If you are from NYC -- Think Port Jervais without the full water port . . . .

One may visit the spot where femme fatale TV newsperson Jessica Savitch met her untimely end almost 35 years 4931431471_0fedbe6f63_n.jpgago.

SAD she went off the road leaving CHEZ ODETTE's restaurant/piano bar - my friend was playing the piano that night. She was a rising NBC Network star

Chez Odette's is gone many years now -- RIP Messy Jesse -- Like us all she had her problems

If New Hope is close enough to visit for an afternoon, I suggest you do that first.

I live in Philadelphia and like New Hope. But, I never thought about spending a weekend there.

More likely an overnight -- Fri/Sat or Sat/Sun -- In Summer Sunday Tea Dance at the Raven is fun and if you have a room == LOTS MORE FUN!!!!!!!!!!

There's only one gay bar now. In the 1980s there were at least three great bars (Raven, Prelude and the Baron/Cartwheel). They were a lot of fun. Now there's only the Raven left. It's a great bar/restaurant and I'm glad it's still there. I think sometime in the nineties the gay boys gave the town the knickname "No Hope".

Visited there regularly when I lived in Bethlehem. Beautiful place. Theater was wonderful as was the Delaware canal. The Delaware canal was the "super highway" of the day between Easton and Philadelphia.
