Guys, I don't mind not being a moderator in the other forums. I hadn't asked to be one, in any case -- I was just informed one day a few weeks ago that I was one! :-) Now that I'm not a moderator, except in Escorts South, I don't have to feel responsible in any way for what happens in them! Somebody else can be responsible for monitoring them for deliberate hijacking, over-the-top behavior, etc.

Trilingual is ill suited to be a moderator at best. He has engaged in some heavy handed tactics that were agaisnt the best interest of the message center. I also suspect that deej felt his position of High Holy Horse's Ass threatened by trilingual's increasingly poor judgement as a moderator.

As it turns out, the deleted posts fit the definition of "trolling" as used by the other moderators. Although I think that definition isn't completely clear, it's clear enough that the deleted posts unquestionably fit within it. And "trolling" is against the published Message Center rules.

It's not MY forum. The forum is for the visitors and members of M4M who are interested in Escorts South of the U.S.A. and related topics. Evidently that's a large number of people, and they've made it explicitly clear in the past few days that they don't want the forum used as a private pig-pen by socially maladjusted and/or emotionally disturbed individuals who feel a need to spew. In most cases such spewing fits the definition of "trolling," which is against the MC rules. Trolling can lead to deletion of posts or the suspension/expulsion of those who do it.

The website provides examples of trolling. The posts that gave rise to the most recent controversy fit squarely within the first example.

 

Personally, I think the definition of "trolling" in this site is overbroad, because it includes a wide array of behaviors based on widely differing motivations. However, my understanding is that the other moderators accept this definition, and since "trolling" is against the rules of this Message Center, the posts in question violated the rules.
