Any clients own their own massage table?

I tried searching this topic... i think the words are too generic.

I'm thinking of buying my own massage table. Would be nice to get one of the wider, memory foam, higher capacity models. Even enough so a masseur can get on too. Some of the extra accessories so my arms are supported, or the head pillow adjusts. Know where my table pads or sheets have been

They're not really that expensive - new. And there are alot for resale locally, that say they're new in box.

Just wondering if any clients have their own table. Or, for that matter, if any masseurs have purchase or feature recommendations.

Yes, @LaffingBear ....great question. I recounted in the "Worst Massage Experience" Thread about the masseur that showed up at my house for an outcall session with 2 sawhorses and a board with a piece of carpet attached to it. I asked what that was...and he replied "my massage table." After that experience I went online and bought my own table. I got it at www.overstock.com. It is the Sierra Comfort table. I just checked on the Overstock website and it is still available . GREAT table. And only $143 with free shipping right to your door! I love having my own table for masseurs that come to my house. The masseurs love not having to bring a table. (or 2 sawhorses and a board with a piece of carpet attached!)

Yes, I do.

And get some nice fennel sheets to growth it, including the ones for the 'face plate'.

(Shhhhhh, I even have one on my Private Jet. Don't tell Jimboi.)

It never occurred to me. I wouldn't bring my own tools to my mechanic. ;)

No, but if you do enjoy that kind of work you would probably have your own tools, even if you are not a professional mechanic. I am not a trained masseur, but enjoy giving massage to my partners, escorts or not. Having a table allows you a lot of possibilities a bed or the floor do not.

Now that's different. But I assumed, perhaps incorrectly, that the OP was talking about having your own massage table so that the masseur would have one to use when he came to your house. If someone wants one just to use as a hobby or for whatever...;) that I understand. Y'all just ignore me and carry on. :) BVB quietly exits stage left.

Absolutely not. He wouldn't be a real gardener, well not professional anyway, and that's sorta my point.

I guess that depends on context. College kid to do yard work or professional gardener. I can see a similar distinction with massages. I can understand if you didn't want to hire such a masseur.

Perhaps not, but would you consider hiring a gardener and have them use equipment that you own?

I do have my own garden equip.

Makes for easier recruiting of hot guys just looking to pick up a few bucks. Small yard, all I need is some raking, sweeping, etc. Too small, too minimal, too infrequent for a professional gardener to bother.

But, I am off topic....

Both.

Primary motivation, is wider, sturdier, plusher, bells & whistles, when a masseur comes to me. But the prospect of having it available for other, homegrown fun has occurred to me.

I have my own table and prefer it.

Some masseurs travel with "lighter" tables that I hate. Especially

in NYC lugging around a full size quality table is a pain in the ass.

Most masseurs are very appreciative.

Good post.

I would like to know what's a good table to buy. Like yourself, I HATE the portable tables, but at the same time, it's a pain in the ass to strip a bed that's soaked with the smell of massage lotion and remaking at 1 in the morning. Sort of defeats the purpose of a relaxing massage.

Why do you not ask for help to your favorite masseur? You can sit together and pick a good table from amazon.

Golden Ratio, check out their site. Very strong and as I recall a little expensive.

I got one free from Zeel when I agreed to get one massage a month from them. Free table and a reduced rate since the therapist doesn't have to drag one around. Not a bad deal for strictly therapeutic massages. I've done a couple of erotic massages since I've had it so I know it'll hold the weight of two people. ;)

Thank you Jake and I figured that would be so. The cheap ones are portable quality I would guess, not very comfortable and considering the price of the mobile service, it's probably worth the investment. I also like the idea of my own linen and having the table and room set up prior to the masseur's arrival. I also book at least 90 minutes and it's usually absorbs at least 15 to 20 just for set up and break down.

Just an FYI, the table I have by Golden Ratio is a portable, very strong and, ummm, you can get at least three guys on the table at once!
