Does it matter if the masseur is nakd throughout the session if we're facing down most of the time?

Yes, for all of the reasons that everyone else who has contributed to this thread has given, plus one: I love the body-to-body contact. I don't mean the sexually-arousing brushes of a certain body part that have been mentioned, and certainly are exciting. I mean feeling this bare thigh (the part closer to his hip that's usually covered by a pair of shorts) pressed against me when leans in to massage my back. I mean feeling his butt pressed against my torso when I am face down and he sits on the table and massages my arm. These were the two sensations that I remember the most vividly when a therapist I had been going to for a few years worked nude for the first time.

I'm generally too shy to ask about the masseur's "boundaries" upfront. What words do you use for that purpose? I am afraid of offending or sounding indelicate.

If a nude masseur is important to you, you might consider trying one thing that I used to do. In a pre-massage email after the initial contact, I would say something like "I understand if you are more comfortable discussing this after we meet, but I prefer mutual nudity during massages," and then explain that it was because I liked body-to-body contact and not because I was looking for a sexual experience. You can generally figure out from his response what his attitude about nudity might be. If he says "We can discuss it after we meet" or "It depends on the client," he's probably comfortable with the idea. That doesn't necessarily mean that he will be nude throughout, but he will probably get naked at some point if he feels comfortable with you. Some replied by saying that they don't work nude, and others ignored the question. Even a few of those ended up getting nude at some point during the massage, and I found that those experiences were among the most exciting ones I had. I stopped asking that question a couple of years ago because I found the surprise more exciting than going into the massage expecting it.

This is exactly how I am. In fact, I find that if I discuss what will happen extra/sex -wise, then it ruins the experience for me. I'm very weird that way, I know. One of the reasons I haven't tried an escort yet...until I can find one who can read my mind and do what I find exciting without talking about it. LOL.

Thanks, matt842! I'll try that line next time I book!

I only go for massages where massuer will work nude. For me, any cloth touching me during a massage is like caulk on a blackboard -- beyond that, of course I enjoy any flesh to flesh contact - be it touching, rubbing or poking!

I too, as someone else said, often have my head to the side so I can appreciate the visual -- especially when he is near or touching my head --

HE always for me - often for him -- with a few regular masseurs I know that the last massage of the day gets the load as he want to keep his energy charged for all sessions.

For me it's actually more of a comfort thing. If I'm going to be nude I want my masseur nude. It creates a level laying field for me if that makes sense. I imagine most masseurs enjoy not only massaging guys, but the thrill of seeing so many clients nude as well. If they get to be thrilled in a sense and I'm paying, I expect to be thrilled and see their goods as well.

I'm assuming there's a typo in your comment but it's a classic! I chuckled out out loud trying to decide if you meant "level playing field" or "level laying field". In the end both would be appropriate given the nature of this thread. :D:D:D

I'm going to have to try that next time. Just have my head to the side.

Yep, I'd like him to be naked for many of the reasons already stated...both of us are vulnerable and open; dislike clothing touching interrupting the connection; allows me to move in the massage much quicker.

I try to be clear that I am looking for a solid, relaxing massage first and foremost (even if I am talking with an escort) and why in particular that day. As the conversation moves on, I ask if it would be okay if we are both naked. I try to keep the naked part separate from the HE as the later is not as important as a good massage and feeling connected. I am hiring because I am looking for the body work to ease the stress and tension I am carrying; take care of that, and we can see where our connection takes us.

I have only had one hire who wasn't comfortable. The rest of the time it has worked better than expected. One guy I used in DC was a former gymnast from Ukraine. He was comfortable with being naked but that was the boundary. He provided an excellent massage that left me feeling very relaxed. Another guy I hired is so unpredictable, it has helped me to sort out his mood before hand. (He has been previously discussed.)

I guess it comes down to ensuring there is good connection to help me move out of head and relax into the massage. Guys who tend to stay clothed might give a great massage but I dont feel the deeper connection that is important for me. I'd also like to think it helps weed out the guys who sees clients more as an ATM.

To me that sounds really uncomfortable. I've had too many massages in Asia where they don't use a real massage table, and having my neck turned just makes it sore. I always much prefer a proper table with a face rest

those face rests suffocate me -- I hate them - rather turn my head side to side and when the moment comes where the face rest position is desired, I use my chin!

Funny, I have convinced myself that I can "feel" the energy if my

masseur is naked or not...even if I'm face down and cannot tell.

Even funnier.....I believe that it matters.

Oh Christ...now we're into Schrödinger's cat....and my dick is getting hard.

Is it homosexuality?.....

or quantum physics that's making me hard?....

and more importantly does it matter?

Enjoy the erection men!...everything else is a false god!

I find the bulge in his tight briefs rather exciting - had a very hot massage recently - he kept placing his bulge in my palm as he worked my back, and then took his briefs off - very nice hot session of mutual touching - his bf was watching tv in another room - i told him on the way out - that I hope he appreciated the hotie he shared his life with - he said he did ...

Agree - I've had those and they are erotic. When your feet and hands feel what's inside the underwear and the masseur is feigning innocence.

There is nothing like the comfort of body to body context. That is part of what relaxes me: that feeling of mutuality and the connectivity that results from body meeting body full on. Especially if the masseur is very skilled and knows how to use his body as a part of the massage that is even better. I totally get when people are not comfortable with that level of contact. But when guys are skilled and open to that kind of healing energy it is ah-mazing. It is a mistake to assume this is primarily a sexual thing (although it can go there), it really isn't. The point is one of relaxation and body to body contact is, in and of itself, healing, and the use of body weight to massage the muscles is part of the art of massage. Ok, I'm done with my little mini-rant. Lol.

SO TRUE! Nice to see someone else who understands and appreciates that it is ENERGY!

That was my thought as well but I have to try it one time. Maybe switching side to side so it's not all on one side

To me, if you head is to the side, you might as well be "be" on your side and on a bed. Otherwise, you just lay there with a crick in your neck and it makes the whole experience come to naught, relaxation wise. I just don't want to have to have hassles when I'm paying to be with a masseur who is supposed to be working magic on me to relax and have "other worldly" experience. I have enough cricks in my neck from work and life with out paying to have another one. Lol.

For a good totally therapeutic massage with no extras you can find someone who works at one of those chains for half that price or perhaps go to a massage school where they need clients for their students to practice on. I've heard of people have excellent experiences there for about $20.

Price is a factor here as well, right? No or little nudity at around $100/hr is not worth it to me.

I have full massage from trained masseur -- both nude and by the end, both of us have cum (hands and/or mouth) -- $60 -- a hidden gem who teaches massage at a local college and does not advertise -- regular clients w/ ocassional new client by word of mouth.

My prostate massure is $60 -- both nude - mutual touch - I obviouly end up shooting -- he never does -- hands only.

My third option is $100 -- nude on nude -- good massage skills, he is erect most of the session -- uses hands and body so

I often feel his hardness sliding around -- always HE for me -- not for him -- though he gets close.

Yes, I've always wanted to try those Chicago School of Massage Therapy/Cortiva student massages . Used to be $35 or so per hour.

Only one experience here -- not during instruction session -- during his private sessions while he gathered the required hours he needed -- can't remember -- he need to log lots of hours before certification.

He worked nude (for me:) -- did a constantly improving massage as he continued to learn -- both of us came orally -- he had decent guage PA - only one I have ever had in my mouth.

Was sorry when he finished and went back home.
