I saw Leo last week and had a great experience—body scrub / massage SPA package. Leo is very polite, kind, very nice looking, good massage skills and wants to please. He’s is easy to talk to and provides a very relaxing experience. I will book him again.

Sounds like he is one of those guys who pretends to be a fell service masseur who isn’t even a very good masseur to start with. And no self awareness! That can be very off putting. Sorry you had to go through that.

Also went to see Andy at W Man’s Spa on the recommendations from several here and that was also an excellent experience.

Some years ago while traveling, I contacted a provider for an incall at his studio. His published rate was reasonable for a basic therapeutic massage. I did my usual googling and internet research as well as this forum. Not much info but no red flags either. I got there, undressed, got on the table, and he started. He was a large hunky guy, muscular, and someone I felt like I should be attracted to but wasn’t. At all. He started all his clothes on and in the middle of the massage he whispered that for twice the price I could touch him. I declined because the massage was doing nothing at all for me. Then he started doing more sensual strokes, I said no, again zero chemistry. And then he said he would take his shirt off and I could touch him for even more money. Are you kidding me? Masseurs have massages me naked for half of the original price. Anyway, when I declined again, he stopped massaging went to my pants on the chair and started rifling through my clothes to get my wallet claiming it was because I had the money and just didn’t want to give it to him. I was outraged. So I got up, and snatched my walled back, and told him the massage was over, and he acted surprised. I just got enough clothes on to get to the car and out of there. He didn’t go off on me but it was clear he wasn’t used to being turned down. It was humiliating and degrading and scary. I hate upsells with such a passion. And that experience taught me a lesson about being really clear about expectations and boundaries up front.

I am looking forward to some way to navigate the rates for masseurs on sites like RMasseur that simply say “ask” in the rate slot on their profiles. I know it varies but if info could be shared as a “price range” excluding tip that would be helpful.
