Can anyone recommend something I can buy in a Vitamins store that helps with erection enhancement? I like Viagra but it is too expensive in the USA, I am buying it in Argentina.

A friend recommended me something called Mojo Risen, but I wanted to get some input from here before going to the Vitamins Store.

Thanks!

Here is the magic - assuming you have an accessible, reasonable compounding pharmacy - I expect that any compounding pharmacy had this capability, but I put the info for the place that I get it and this absolutely works (I have like a shitton of pills because my doc knew I was traveling and out of country)

Get doctor to write you a Rx for Revatio 20 mg ("new" pulmonary hypertension med - also same exact drug as Viagra/sildenafil) - up to 3 pills per day is what my doctor did - go to compounding pharmacy and get it filled (I use unasource pharm in troy, MI - (248) 312-0037 )) - since Revatio is off-label for ED, you're good in the hood having doctor write it as Revatio 20 - at unasource, it is 2$ per pill for legit USA Viagra - cash payment, no insurance

The kicker:

Sign up for the Revatio savings program through the drug company's website - submit your receipt to them from Unasource - they will reimburse you for 100% of the cost of the 2$ / pill

I've done this a few times and sent several people to do this successfully.

PS: shameless plug: if ya'll get this sick deal to work, I have an amazon wishlist with mostly books and a charity I support (givedirectly.org)

Question: my only experience with sildenafil (I said Viagra in my OP, but Argentina has a generic medications law) has been buying different brands in Argentina. The minimum dose over there is 50mg. You can get 6 pills, 50mg each, for about 15 bucks.

If I understand your post, two pills of Revatio 20mg would have less sildenafil than the 50mg pills I get over the counter in any Argentinean pharmacy. Correct?

No matter how many you end up needing for the desired effect, it is zero cost to you per pill. (Using the right pharmacy with the rebate program)

You would take two and a half 20 mg pills for the equivalent amount in one of the 50 mg pills, correct.

I'm assuming USA in my calculations.

I have a doctor appt in June. I will try your advise (if I don't forget:oops:).

If I understand, the sildenafil differentiation is purely one of cost - not efficacy ?

What brand? Branding is everything!

My concern is not branding. My purchases from Argentina have been during my visits there, so I brought the pills with me. I am afraid if I order from India or Canada the shipment maybe confiscated and I could get in legal problems. That is why I was asking @nycman about his experience.

The same generic drug may be marketed under two different names. For example, Wellbutrin (Buproprion) is an antidepressant, while Zyban (Buproprion) is used for smoking cessation. Insurance companies usually pay for Wellbutrin, and not Zyban. When doctors write a prescription for Wellbutrin. they may receive an inquiry concerning the details. Writing the prescription for Wellbutrin instead of Zyban is perfectly legal, though in writing for off label use of Wellbutrin for smoking cessation, the physician assumes more legal respnsibility. Many insurance companies have a verification process to assess whether drugs are prescribed for covered conditions and not in amanner as to circumvent the insurance coverage. If a physician is less than honest with this process, he may be perpetrating fraud.

OliverSaks is proposing one:

1 Asks for ED medication (there should be an established diagnosis of ED)

2 Requests that the doctor choose off label Adempas or Revatio (pulmonary hypertension

drugs chemically identical to Viagra, just in different doses).

3. Assume the cost for the prescription, side stepping arbitrary insurance regulations.

4 Utilize a pharmacy willing to turn a blind eye to the volume of prescriptions received for a rather uncommon condition, pulmonary hypertension.

5. Apply for a manufacturer rebate program designed to assist those purchasing the drug for pulmonary hypertension.

This is all legal. OliverSaks is suggesting that you co-opt your doctor into writing medication for a condition you do not have, so as to supply you with pulmonary hypertension medication which is to be used off label for ED. He is then suggests accepting money back from the manufacturer of the drug from a program which was designed to to reimburse those suffering with an unusual and oft times fatal disease.

This is not Iran Contra. The risk to the doctor doing the prescribing is small. The damage to the rebate program and company funding it, is small. If you can live with the ethical shadiness of this, then you can definitely get inexpensive Viagra equivalent.

I did not know you can legally smuggle viagra. Have you tried that link?

Alldaychemist is a trustworthy site. I've used them many times. If your order gets stopped at customs they'll just throw it away. I've had it happen a few times and they just sent me out another package free of charge.

I have been using GenericDoctor for years without a problem. Great prices and I get my shipment super quick. Right now, I'm a big fan of the oral jelly. They even carry generic Truvada.

If Customs comes across your package, they will only confiscate it and send a note. They' won't show up at your door. I've had shipments taken and GenericDoctor quickly replaced it.

I'll keep this site on file since you recommended it. Just doing a simple comparison alldaychemist is a bit cheaper though. At least on the stuff I get.

Yikes... is what I've done in the past any more or less off the books than having meds shipped from overseas?

Edit: FDA doesn't approve of the overseas shenanigans in many cases (but some exceptions exist for life threatening illnesses without US FDA approved meds) - I normally try to be by the book; I didn't even know what I was doing was dubious...

I like GenericDoctor's selection better. I also get 20% more bonus pills/packs if I pay via BitCoin which makes up the difference. I used to love 4RX but they are no longer around. Stay away from Topills. Twice my credit card info happened to be compromised after using their site.

Having a medication shipped from overseas when that prescription is for medication which is given for the condition which the patient has, is a bit risky due to counterfeit drugs, impurities etc, but it does not stretch guidelines of use. A doctor is not being asked to write a drug off label. The medication is to be used as prescribed. The pharmacy is supplying the proper drug for the condition the patient has. There is not any ethical issues there.

Your situation is different. The doctor is being asked by his patient to knowingly write a prescription for off label use in order to circumvent costs. The pharmacy is not asking any questions. The rebate intended for people suffering from a certain disease is being diverted. Small potatoes in the world of Big Pharma, and with minimal consequences and risks. However for me, there is a bit of professional ethical grayness in all that.

Just to be clear, I am not supporting the idea of dividing medication's cost into more and less expensive because of the underlying condition. To me that is definitely wrong and should be eliminated. There is plenty wrong with a system in which one needs to jump through so many hoops to get medication. But just as getting an unwarranted prescription for medical marijuana on a wink and a knowing nod from a sympathetic physician is a medical ethical issue for the doctor, so is this.

The FDA is warning people not to try this. It's got hidden ingredients in it that are the actual active components. Same stuff as Viagra I guess. It's anything but natural though.

https://www.fda.gov/drugs/resourcesforyou/consumers/buyingusingmedicinesafely/medicationhealthfraud/ucm355904.htm

My concern is how to identify reliable sources when we discuss drugs. Pharma is way too powerful everywhere and I am not confident about these warnings.

Anyway, what I was looking for is an alternative source in case mine from Argentina gets interrupted. I have plenty of information responding to my concern here and in my PM inbox, thank you so much to you and to everyone who helped.

I am specially interested in @OliverSaks tip, we can get it for free!:)

Why substitute?.....import from India!

alldaychemist

Any "vitamins"...are junk that just give you expensive urine.

NYCman,

Alldaychemist has several brands of the drug offered at the site. Is any one better than another? Thanks.

I have been using "Suhagra 100 mg" (Sildenafil) manufactured by the Indian Pharmaceutical company Cipla@ through Alldaychemist for the last 3 or 4 years and it always works perfectly to keep me performing at my best for the whole session. By ordering one of the bonus priced deals (buy 60 tablets, get additional 20 free) I end up paying slightly less than $1 per tab! I recommended this to another friend who had previously ordered generic Viagra from Mexico through an online offer and had found it completely ineffective - a total waste of his money! He told me that the Suhagra I recommended, which he ordered through Alldaychemist, worked tremendously well for him!
