How many times per month do you see a masseur? Can this be addicktive?

Hello guys, I am fairly new to hiring masseurs, and I was wondering what's the average on number of times per month to see a masseur? I think I am getting addicted... I am now getting a massage once per week! And I did the math of my expense/year if I continue at this pace and it's A LOT for my budget! I think it's like gambling. I can afford once per month or once every 2-3 weeks.

If your primary interest is massage consider signing up at one of your local massage therapy schools. They usually welcome clients for their students to train on. And the cost is typically very reasonable.

 

Check for schools in your area. Most larger cities have at least one school.

 

Also, if you go to MM4M, click on a city and scroll to the bottom. There may a listing of schools and resources in that city.

Depends on my mood and work load but I can get 3 a week or go a month without any. Typically I like to see the same guy 2-3 times in a very short window. I go for a massage if other stuff transpires all good but main goal is a decent good massage from a decent masseur on a table , mutual respect all around . If I am looking for way more than a massage there are apps for that(lol) and I go to whatever site I need to fulfill that. Rm, a4a etc

I justify my massages in my mind by saying I have not had a proper vacation in over ten years so these are my mini de-stressing vacations. Life is short if you can afford it pamper yourself.

I go about once a month. If you, say, go to Starbucks every workday, you're probably spending about as much on that as you would on a massage every month.

There are cheaper options as noted above like massage schools. Also, a number of the older guys on masseurfinder who have lower prices than the pretty boys are actually quite good technically, so don't overlook them if you're really just looking for the massage.

 

AND: some of the spas have deals where every 10th massage is free, or particular hours are a lower rate.

I would say about 2-3 per month with people that I know and trust. It is expensive and frustrating if you go often and are only really satisfied with about half of your choices. I supplement with trusted spa outlets where I have found someone who is consistently very good. I find it really good for my overall health, blood pressure, and staying centered.

Every 2-3 weeks here. I rarely hire a guy. I have a regular thing with a couple of guys at legit spas. I prefer it to be consensual so if a therapist wants to play he'll usually bump my arm (while I'm face down) with his leg or crotch. I never initiate, well, beyond getting hard.
