Yup

One companion shared with me an innocuous factoid about myself (on the confidentiality level of not liking broccoli) which I had only shared with one other companion. I've not contacted the indiscreet companion since.

Loose lips sink ships.

Are we not fostering here a fundamentalist understanding of Discretion? Why do assume that escorts discussing clients must be gossip?

This is an imaginary but plausible scenario. It could happen to any of us. I contact one of the escorts who is active here and hire him. This escort checks my reviews and learns that I met one of his friends. He calls him and asks what information he can share that would help him to provide me with outstanding service. He learns broccoli is my favorite food. He comes to our meeting with a broccoli kitsch and I fall in love.

That is one point.

Another point:

If I learn that a friend of mine do not like broccoli, it is pretty possible I will not be discrete about it. It does not look like information that should be protected under the Holy Umbrella of Confidentiality.

In my Opinion Clients have it much Easier than Escorts.

99% of the time we are going with our "Gut" when meeting a Client that he will Treat us with Respect, Show up, And Pay. If we're lucky we may even Click. MOST Escorts are Professional. Its usually those who are In it for a quick buck(Only to Dissappear 6 Months later) or are going through some extreme Crisis(Drugs, Loss In Family etc) where they become Inconsitent.

Clients have many Outlets to do their Homework on us Escorts. Of course considering they're paying I totally understand why they'd want to take these Measures.

BUT Imagine being In an Escorts shoes. At the end of the Day the Client usually has the Upper hand considering He's paying. Escorts can only hope the Client he's meeting isnt a Douchebag. I've met a few. We all do. The fun part is some of us create a list of those whom never to email/meet again. Clients think we forget considering we meet many more people. I dont forget anyone/anything. You'd be surprise of the Assholes I have me...only to Hit me up a few months later like nothing Happened. For me Its quite the opposite. Those whom treat me with Respect, are Reliable etc I usually go out of my way to give them an even better expereince...and Usually a Discount:)

On the flip side, I wonder if there is a 'clients to avoid' website or forum out there. A place where escorts discuss clients that are unhygienic, obnoxious, scammers, violent or undesirable in any other way ...

Dude I highly appreciate you addressing that issue, because it seems like everyone wants to put the blame on the provider when honestly and genuinely I care about my clients and their welfare. I know I'm not alone when I say this. From the escorts point of view, hygiene is necessary & priority. Above all...respect, discretion, and professionalism should be given and demanded by both provider and escort. It's not too often, but there are the rare cases when it is the escort that lives a double life as well.

Ps. I can't stress this enough...Client/Provider safety and comfortability ensure happy and satisfied long-term araingments.

On the flip / flip side, do escorts ever tell other escorts about clients they should welcome? I doubt it, but thought I'd throw it out there.

I have some friends that are escorts as well and yes discretion is my biggest pet peeve but just as a client will make it reference I will as well but not before I run it by my client if he or she has not already asked, which honestly happens a lot.

I don't think there's ANYTHING wrong with being warned about scorts on here, and I DON'T mean about a lousy time or if he was high or rude or flaked out and was a no show etc, those do belong in the reviews or PM's. I mean if it involves a scam or theft or violence or danger. Don't we have that obligation to help keep each other safe here??

*Yes I understand from a scorts POV a disgruntled client or competing scort can make up wild accusations, but a "newbie" label is usually the giveaway.

Don't let the Newbie label go to your head I've been escorting for a long time and this is my first time on a forum, but yes this is ultimately about the passing of information to ensure the client gets what they pay for,the provider can feed his family and pay bills. All go home at the end of the day safely and satisfied.

There is such a forum. Two escorts have told me about this. It's a blacklist site where must-avoid clients are listed/identified somehow. It helps escorts dodge a bullet from crazies, druggies, no-shows, and the like.

Years ago there was a blacklist site. I'm not aware of one now, but I may be out of the loop.

You can add clients who are batshit crazy--there are a lot of us out there, probably way more than crazy escorts.

Perhaps I'm searching/sorting incorrectly but the most recent post I see there is 06-02-2015 11:25 AM?

It's actually probably a worthless and possibly predatory website. Somebody once thought that it would be the next-new-good-thing for escorts, but it probably really isn't. It's become a revenue generating website, and in some instances, a website where anyone can post un-verified information about someone else who might have a grudge and blackmail them into removing said posted personal information.

The information contained within, could very well be self-generated by the website-owners to simply create revenue for the owners of the site. Public information about people is just too easy to obtain to consider otherwise without better vetting of the people running it.

Hey guys me again.

I don't know if this has been done before, but are there any escorts out there one should avoid? I think we all know about Mike Marino and Scott Sloan (and Scott Randsome back-in-the-day.) Are there any other current escorts clients should avoid or at least tread with caution?

Seriously, I don't want an all out bitch fest against escorts, just some details to make an informed decision.

Thanks!

Just jumping in about the back-in-the-day guys you mentioned: Never met Sloan, thank you Jesus; Randsome - justified asshole, & not in a good way; but can't complain about experience w/ M. Marino - weird, yes, probably coked up, but was nice guy (w/ me), & sexy as hell, IMO. Big - really big - dumb guido, which I like. I'm pretty vanilla. Would have hired again given the opportunity.

Anybody know WEHT him?

Get a room you two... oh wait you already are. :p

To be fair, the supposed controversies are more about some of his cheerleaders feeling the need to belittle fellow forum members on his behalf (not about the man himself). Everything else is typical forum chatter... where people praise (how great he is physically) or complain (his rates) about things. Every working guy on here has run into that to some degree.

You should encourage him to participate. He doesn't have to write a lot. A thoughtful/positive remark here or there can change a lot of attitudes. As I tell most people who start posting here... some people can be annoying, some are great, but really and truly the only people's opinions you should be concerned about are the ones who know you. Besides most people's bark is far worse than their actual bite.

I'll PM you, @big-n-tall. The point you're making in your first paragraph here about RS and "supposed controversies" you've made elsewhere and my point in bringing him up wasn't to re-broach any of that. It was simply a point about "Newbie" status.

Regarding your second para and me "encourag[ing] him to participate": Respectfully, that's a little absurd. I would not purport to tell an escort so much more successful and experienced than me how to handle his business. I'd feel a bit like Urkel telling Chris Hemsworth how to make it in Hollywood. :)

I, myself, like tight lips.

Take that to mean whatever you want.
