When we get storms like this in the Northeast, like over a foot or two with blizzard conditions, what effect does it have on the business? Is there a lot of down timw because of travel restrictions or a lot more interest because of boredom?

I can think of several times I've braved horrible snowstorms to make an incall appointment (at the escort's place). They've all been travellers visiting my city so the chances of rescheduling were lower. I can't, off the top of my head, think of a time where an escort has traveled through bad weather to come to my place.

There will be lots of cancellations, which means there will be many opportunities to make appointments with masseurs and escorts who are otherwise unavailable. I keep reading here how Tristan Baldwin is so difficult to book. Maybe he's snowbound, and has numerous openings for Tuesday?

Tuesday will be a great time to see sold-out shows on Broadway -- if the cast can get to the theater. Hamilton, anyone??

Yes, it does affect the business!

Flight cancellations and the fear of driving, at the same time some folks might have the day off and walk nearby to see an escort. I guess escorts might lose a client but potentially get another one.

Successful escorts see 2, 3 or 4 guys a day, sometimes more, sometimes less. There's always room for Jello if the client is proactive and is not looking for a specific time or A.S.A.P.

I think he's a successful business owner and that's why his free time is limited and usually reserved for overnights and weekend appointments.

I don't think the cast and crew of Hamilton would be able to make it to the theater, and it might be cancelled. Possibly they will be staying at a nearby hotel... who am I kidding only TV would do that but if the cheapest ticket is 500 they might be able to put the cast and crew to sleep on nearby hotel.

This type of tiresome question has been asked so many times, the moderators should make it a sticky topic.

but I think "should I pay upfront?" discussion may eclipse all......

or the ubiquitous "are rentmen reviews trustworthy?".....

ugh!

Can escorts be really be your friend?

Why didn't the escort call me back?

Is an overnight worth the money?

and my personal favorite... "Can you believe ____ is charging $___?"

I am quite sure several variations on the snowstorm-type question have been asked before, even if the wording is different.

Another example: counting (although to be fair, some of the threads are older).

Why do you care enough to do all this research? Heard it before? Feel like everything that can be said has been said? Then simply skip the thread.

Personally, I am fully aware of how to use the search function. I use it before I do a 411 on a particular escort, but I'm not interested in reading something that is more than a couple months old. There are new people and new opinions all the time.

One might say the same thing about your post. It is my observation that certain topics are repeated over and over to the point of being tiresome. You and I do not have to share the same viewpoint.

Regarding MikeBiDude's comment, I don't resort to name-calling. I simply think the art of meaningful conversation is lost on most people who engage in this forum. Most of the threads are trite. See Marylander for a good example should you need one.

So,what? Maybe YOU could provide an index of links to topics that seem to offend you when they get brought up and offer to the moderators as a "sticky" topic. Would help you with this serious irritation  of your's, and keep you busy!

You appear to be the person who is "seriously irritated," although I am not exactly sure why. Flinging insults because someone has a difference of opinion is hardly constructive.

Thanks to those who answered some of my questions. Sorry I didn't do all the research. Not sure I feel too good about being called an "ergo, new asshole." Just making an attempt to strike up a thread about a question I thought about before. Didn't know we got points for orginality!! It's all good, though.

You asked a legitimate question to start a conversation. There's nothing to apologize for related to researching past history. Topics get repeated from time to time and new perspectives added by new members. The sole purpose of this community is to share information and provide some entertainment. There's a wide variety of personalities which keeps it interesting around here.

This thread went sideways because one member decided to be rude and call it "tiresome." He was called out and things degenerated from there. Anonymous posters can behave like assholes. Such is the Internet. And this forum.

You have as much right to participate here as anyone. You should feel free to ask any question you like and not worry about it. Remember, there's no such thing as a stupid question. However, there are plenty of stupid and tiresome answers.

Perhaps the folks who feel the constant need to criticize and complain are the assholes. If this is an example of how you welcome conversation of any kind, this board is in serious trouble.

I'm not sure @kewtex was calling you an asshole. Rather I think he was equating opinions with assholes, as in the old adage 'opinions are like assholes: everybody has one'.

So what did you mean when you said ...

That wasn't insulting to most people who engage in this forum and to Marylander in particular?

This thread went sideways because one member decided to be rude and call it "tiresome."
