I have met with him. He is Persian and is not confused by that. His pics are real and he is a very nice guy and a lot of fun in the Bedroom. No clock watching etc. He will negotiate his rate a little.

I have literally ALWAYS been told by EVERY Persian American or Iranian American or Iranian I have EVER MET that it's offensive to think of them as Arab. Literally 100% of professors or students of middle-eastern history, ethnic studies, near-east languages, or any other relavent field would say the same. He clearly IS confused. I dare you to go up to any OTHER person of Iranian descent ANYWHERE ON EARTH and say "you're basically the same as Arabs, right?" I dare you.

Really. Do it and get back to us.

Goosh69 makes an excellent point. There is also the major religious issue that Iranians/Persians are Shia and the vast majority of Arabs are Sunni and by now we should ALL realize that there is no love lost between those two groups.

I also find it interesting that some escorts who claim to be Persian/Iranian or Arab are uncut. Not likely!

Remember too that Iranian and Persian are not synonyms even though the country used to be called Persia. Persians make up 61% of the population, Azeris 16% and Kurds 10%. None of these groups are Arabs. Persians and Kurds speak related Indo-European languages and Azeri is a Turkic one.

Mike another interesting point is that after the 1981 Iranian Hostage crisis Iranians in the U.S. stopped calling themselves Iranians because of the hostility they received. They changed to calling themselves Persians. Most people in the U.S. have little or no sense of world geography and thus failed to make the connection.

Oh dear. I promise I won't laugh.

I apologize for assisting in the kidnapping this tread but I am finding it interesting and informative.

Many years ago I spend a considerable amount of time in Cairo. I found it interesting that the average Egyptians didn’t much care for being called Arabs. For financial reasons the Egyptian government, of course, kowtowed to Saudi Arabia and the Gulf States by calling the country Arab. Most Egyptians, however, disparagingly referred to Saudis and Gulf States Arabs as “Bedsheet Arabs”. They were extremely proud of their Pharaonic history and believed their culture and history superior to that of other Arab nations.

Getting this thread back on its original track...

Can you tell us more Max? Does he kiss? Is he truly a STALLION or just a pony? Is he a good top?

Since RM does not include Persian as an option for ethnicity Sam may have just picked what he thought was closest: Arab. In nearly all escort ads there are some inaccuracies! ;)

A Persian friend is much more offended by "Shahs of Sunset" than by being referred to as Iranian or Arab.

BTW Sam is one very hot man! :) He looks somewhat like the Lebanese underwear model Adam Ayash.

So many comments in here are mean spirited, degrading, and insulting to the young man. I provided a high level overview of MY experience. He is well educated, traveled, engaging in all aspects and cares about what he is doing. You balk at his hourly rate, but how many us have shelled out 300-350 for escorts (NYC market ) who have non of his qualities. Also his rate is to weed out undesirable or cheap clients. It appears it works based on the comments here.

Also goosh69, you got all worked up here. As another person posted, RM doesn't provide an ethnicity option for "Persian".........so I guess he pick Arab. I am impressed however with your extensive knowledge and listing of the 100% club which apparently includes professors and students, but noticeably absent are just ask an Iranian person. For the record, he is not confused, does acknowledge he is Persian and very proud of it, in private. In the end, give the guy a break. He didn't commit a capital crime. He simply made the best choice based on what he was given to work with.

Lastly, he has remained in touch with me and we have become friendly. So much so, that when he is in town, we spend several off the clock hours together. He lives up to the name and provides a service worthy of the price.
