I was looking at a RentMen profile in Chicago (https://rentmen.com/Brinden), but the rates seem waaaay too low.

 

I've read the forum posts on PeterCullighan (https://rentmen.com/PeterCullighan), who has similar rates, and who is widely regarded as a fraud.

 

Has anyone had experiences with escorts who are far too cheap?

When I see those rates in metropolitan areas,

I think that there are some guys that basically just use rentmen as a hookup site, and are turned on by the idea of getting paid for it; maybe that's even their fetish. When a guy is advertising super low rates, I'd recommend being very careful, but if there are no other red flags, proceed with caution. Be especially careful about guys who mention massage along with low rates... that may be all that's on the menu.

 

Conversely, I met a guy on Grindr who asked for $30-40. I proceeded cautiously with the full expectation that it would be a waste of time. As it turned out, it was really hot, and I got just what I wanted. I felt like his asking rate was pathetic, and I gave him $60.

This past April I met a guy in Las Vegas who at one time was very well known and quite popular. He had a profile on Rentmen quoting a rate at $300. By chance I found another profile on one of the hookup apps offering his services for $100. The text of both ads had the exact same stats and very similar profile descriptions down to the European heritage, modeling, some porn, and his great reviews. I knocked on his door and it really was the strikingly handsome European guy from Rentmen. He more than delivered a hot wild time as promised. I wasn't sure if he was down on his luck, or if business wasn't good, or if he had other issues to be offering such a low rate. It was one third of his premium rate but he certainly delivered the promised experience and then some. I paid the agreed rate and departed as one very satisfied customer.

It's difficult to generalize as just these posts so far show. Just do your due diligence maybe a low rate is a red flag but guess what...maybe it's not? I found a willing 24 year old neighbor who does it *all* for like $40-60....it's not frequent, we have troubles with our scheduling but yeah we have fun and he has gas money.

 

That said, I'm also one of the guys who won't balk at $500 if I'm interested in the gentleman, so go figure!

I'd tend to agree with @corndog - I've met three new, young guys recently who are well under the average rate and 1) really enjoy sex, and, 2) aren't sure what rate is reasonable on their first appointments.

I think you hit the nail on the head. This is what I was thinking: a total bottom who doesn't want to do anything but lie down and take it. I'm a bottom myself, so I wouldn't enjoy that.

I don't know but as far as I'm concerned nothing is ever too cheap when it comes to paying for sex. I've been hustled from Hustlers out of a few bucks and hustled from "professional" Escorts well reviewed on this (and HooBoy's old site) for hundreds of dollars. It stings more when it's hundreds of dollars from a supposedly "professional" Escort that's all. Frankly the two best blow jobs I've ever received in my life came from Street Hustlers. One cost me $5 and the other $30 which he got $40 because ATM's don't give change and neither do Hustlers. LOL Both were clean, polite and asked me if they could do anything more for me. Those were the days of street cruising and bookstores! There are frauds and rip off in all income brackets and levels of the trade. Some Escorts start out as Hustlers and while their price scale and tactics change, their ethics don't. One can never be too sure about anything even with prior experience or reviews from previous clients. Once it was mostly true that the low end was mostly druggies and the desperate, but with the "recreational drug" epidemic these days that is no longer the case. So if you have the money and are willing to take the risk, try the guy and let us know how it worked out.

Particularly earlier in my days as a client I hired a lot of the affordable men. Back then there seemed to be quite a pool of $100/hr or even $100/session men along with fewer $150 - $250/hr A-list guys. Some of the affordable guys said that they really just enjoyed the class and demeanor of the clients they attracted. Their clients were often more of the "regular guy" type, more humble and down to earth. LESSONS LEARNED

1) Never Hire off Back Page. Assume way to many ads there are scams. (Personal note: many of yinz hire successfully from there, to each his own)

3) The guy (IN THE AD) was extremely good looking for the $150 "donation"

4) Never enter an extremely dark room and don't let the escort get between me and the door.

5) I never carry any extra money with me when I see an escort anyway and all the more glad I have

adopted that policy as this could have gotten messy.

6) If it seems too good to be true IT ALMOST ALWAYS IS NOT TRUE !!!

7) Stick with guys well reviewed on Daddy's.
