a higher incall price can mean that this person is discrete about escorting, and therefore uncomfortable with handing out their location either due to fear of stalkers, or roommates. The amount would therefore eliminate most people from asking for it, unless someone REALLY wanted to and they could set it up in advance. Or at least, thats my reasoning for the higher incall price on my own ad. I could be projecting here.

I don't care how much money he charges - if he gets $800 for a 2-hour meeting then that's awesome! More power to him.

(I really don't get these threads about "OMG - John12Inches has a $999 rate!" or "BBCButtPirate says he won't take Sagittarius dwarves as clients!" My response is pretty much "who cares" but this is a hobby for many and so there's conversation. That's the nature of the beast.)

I do wonder, however, if a high rate is an effective deterrent to stalkers or means to maintain a higher level of discretion. It would seem that simply being choosy about the clients would be a more reliable way to achieve this goal. Wackos who can't afford $400 can still bug the crap out of you and schedule appointments with no intention of doing anything other than getting your address and hanging around outside your building.

In other words, if the objective is discretion then the most reliable means to achieve that is to work with discreet people. From the client side that is exactly what I do. A high rate tells me nothing whatsoever about a potential hire's behavior.

Example: a pair of new San Antonio guys I met were quite low relative to other duos and they were very discreet and their behavior very conservative when others could observe us. Conversely I used to see a fairly high-end, expensive guy who I learned (from another client!) had shared some personal info about me with another escort. HUGE no-no.

I'll not see or refer either of them again.

Hopefully constructive food for thought.

I noticed the San Antonio duo today...they are a couple of cuties. Would be interested to hear more about your experience. As far as "high price" getting you "high end" customers. I would point out that I myself work in a "luxury" industry with wealthy individuals, and in MY experience, the more money they have to spend, the more obnoxious, demanding and entitled the client tends to be. I always prefer my upper middle class, doctors, lawyers, and businessmen over a trust-fund or hedge-fund asshole any day. Food for thought.

I submitted a review for the boys :) and expect it will be published in due time. It has some details about my experience though I'm happy to share details. I'll say that what was noteworthy was their positive attitude, happy demeanor and absolute commitment to my experience and satisfaction.

The relevance to this thread is the lack of any correlation whatsoever of their rate to their delivery of the experience.

This is consistent with my observation of every companion I have ever hired.

At a starting rate of $ 400 for Young Fun alone, that's going to be one expensive tag team. WHO pays this much ? I am curious who has that much money for an hour of fun ?

a lot of folks can and do. just because you won't lay out that kinda cash doesn't mean someone else won't

money shaming a working guy just because they can get a high rate is silly. move on if you don't like what someone charges

I would disagree PA. That has not been my experience. I think you are making some wide generalizations, but you have your own life experiences and as such are entitled to your own opinion. Mine have just been more positive....just sayin.

He pays $20/month for the ad. If he only get a few per month then that's probably more then enough.

Apparently I have a lot more responsibilities than "a lot of folks", or I like to get laid a lot more frequently. I would be broke if I paid that much every week for some fun.

Not sure how "more responsibilities" relates to ability to afford? Spendable income/cash not necessarily tied to "responsibilities"? You make yourself sound special ;)
