For a long time, I have admired the AOL profile of Radar, who is a genuine dominator and owner of many toys and domination enhancement devices.

If you want to view his site before you read further,

http://hometown.aol.com/ffttbd9topscort/

The domination scene is NOT for me; I just like his look and may one day ask him to initiate me without all of the fanfare and with some gentle, caring, passionate loving that I think he might be capable of.

But I digress. Radar is staying in a hotel in Wash DC and left the following automated away message for those of us in NYC:

"In Wash DC from Jan. 7th-16th - staying at the Crowne Plaza. I will have dungeon set up in my room (i.e. sling, rubber mattress, lots of toys, leather gear, rubber gear, toys, electro, restraints, etc... Make reservations with me NOW boy!Very Muscular, Dom Top, mild to nasty, FF, SM, WS, CBT, spanking, roleplay. Novices welcome - serious inquiries please. If you are interested in hooking up call me ANYTIME: 917-RADAR-20"

I immediately thought of what the cleaning women (or cleaning men) might think when they saw his setup.

And then I got to thinking, with all of the seasoned travellers on here, surely you have some good stories to post about hotel antics that either border on comic or border on ridiculous.

I know that I once entertained a nice young guy in Atlantic City, NJ, at a nice hotel, and while I was "bringing him home to Jesus" with enthusiastic thrusts, the door opened up and a cleaning woman walked in. I can't comment on what she thought later on, or if her husband benefited from what she saw and learned at that time. LOL

I also remember being near Gatwick, England, several years ago, in a hotel that had a guest with the same EXACT name as mine, to whose room I was ushered, and who turned out to be an interesting straight guy that obviously liked to F**k. Details aren't that great, but upon request.

SO, for all of you clients and escorts who have done extensive travelling, let us hear about your weirdest hotel experiences. Its more of a humor thing for me.

I'm committed to Marriott and Rennaissance, but would love to hear other views and opinions.

Regards,

Travelers can be subjected to all manner of things.

These days I ABSOLUTELY WILL NOT open nightstand drawers in a hotel. No matter how hard they hide the pens! I've found used condoms in there more often than I care to think about.

At a hotel in Tampa, I was tossing and turning because the mattress was lumpy. In the middle of the night, I got bothered enough to actually look under the mattress and found a ... well ... well-used butt plug of some impressive size.

When housekeeping (and management) arrived to investigate, I was barely containing hysterical laughter and STILL got upgraded to the Shula Suite for the rest of the week. (Hey it was the least they could do with a hurricane rolling over the city. It was a moment of humor in what would otherwise be a bleak week.)

Hotels really aren't fit for human habitation. ;-)

Gosh, I've never had any problems with surprises in the nightstands. I spend 3-4 nights/month at Homewood Suites (Hilton) and another 2 nights/month at Raddison.

Raddison is not my first choice for places to stay but I don't always have a choice. My most disgusting experience at Raddison was one morning when I went to make coffee and found the remains of very used tea bag. Have also found dead mice (two different times) in my Raddison rooms.

Don't know if anyone else has caught "Room Raiders" on MTV. This is a show where the bedrooms of potential dates are raided by the selector. They often bring out a black light to examine the sheets. I've often wondered what would show up if I tried that on the hotel sheets. Not sure I'm ready to know...

But, on a serious side, the best experience I had was at a Marriott Residence Inn in Virgina. Not only did I share a wonderful night was a great escort, but their bed was the most comfortable I've ever experienced.

The weirdest thing that ever happened to me was ....

a snake under my bed at Kyalami Ranch in J'burg!!!

Have a pleasant day,

This is an annual staple of "consumer reporters" in most major markets.

The stories generally make you want to sleep (and whatever else) ON TOP of the linens. They'll definitely put you off crawling under the covers.

It's like sausage. Better you don't know how it got that way.

If you want to have an interesting hotel experience, time the arrival of the room service waiter to coincide with you getting out of the shower - towel optional.

Some of them are real Druids - other's are delightful.

By the way...what is Radar's base city?

Worse that happened to me at a hotel was waking up covered with red ants in a hotel in Toledo Ohio! The room was a 1st floor room with a sliding glass door that led out to the pool area. I arrived very late at night...just crashed immediately, so was not even aware that red ants were all over the room!

My worst experience was at an upscale resort in Tasmania, where there were spiders nestled in my bed. I didn't realize it until morning, when I woke with bites all over my lower body, a few of which actually took a year to fully heal.

Hi All

I believe Radar's home city is NYC

With regard to the general post regarding hotel antics and the general condition of some of them - I used to travel a lot with another femail consultant who always travelled with her own sheets and pillow cases.. AND when she checked in gave strict instructions that the room was not to be cleaned by Housekeeping. SO.. I have no idea if the hotel really complied with her request but there an option.. I just can't imagine packing clean bedding in my carry on <g>

As for myself I always stay at Marriott properties and have never had any issues with finding used condoms etal..

Ciao

I thought Radar was from Iowa :-)

BTW, my cousin works for NBC and is a real M*A*S*H buff...while doing some of his own research on the show and its characters, he said that most of the cast did not like Radar O'Rielly and that he had a serious attitude problem. My cousin also gave me some trivia : Radar is missing a finger (or maybe a thumb...cant remember) on one of his hands...probably makes it easier for fisting though !!!

Last month in ATL at a Marriott chain hotel, I got the worst case of genital herpes without any human contact. First in about 20 years. the only contact, I can think of was with the bedspread, that goes uncleaned for long periods of time, even though the sheets are changed daily.

There was this one time I was staying in a hotel in NYC, and when I woke up the sheets were drenched in cum, and $700 was missing from my wallet -- wait, that's what happens every time I go to NYC!!!

Thanks, fellas, for the candid shots of your hotel stays.

Snakes, spiders, ants, herpes, theft, etc.....who would have thought?

For the record, I generally try to stay in Renaissance hotels (in Europe) and Marriott hotels (in Europe and USA) as I have had only good experiences there. The Marriott chain (including the Residence Inns) are quire good, but I would NOT recommend staying at the Fairfield Suites (also a Marriott) either in CA or in Tennessee.

FYI: I ALWAYS book a room with a double bed (use one as a luggage and staging area) and I NEVER use the bedspread in ANY hotel. I know that they aren't cleaned with the frequency of the sheets and towels. And, although I am environmentally conscious, I ALWAYS strip the bed of the sheets, so I know that they are changed, and I always request fresh towels. AND, I always leave at least $3-5 US per day, for the cleaing crew, for this request.

On the other hand, I also request more toiletries and extra towels and I always manage to take them home.

One day, you guys just HAVE TO SEE the towels I brought back from Hong Kong.

Warmest Regards,

A few years ago, a regular client took me to Paris (and Positano and London on the same trip) and we stayed at the Ritz Paris on the Place Vendôme. I liked their huge pink towels, so my clever client requested some FedEx boxes and we packed up a whole big set of bath towels, hand towels, wash cloths and a bath mat to ship back home to myself. Wasn't that nice of the Ritz to help us out that way? ;-) However, the towels no longer go with our current redecoration (we never move; we just repaint and refurnish) so the towels are now proudly owned by some lucky eBay winner in Ohio. :)
