Maybe I am just too stone, but I think this thread has finally made my mind. I used to be a cat owner back in Buenos Aires, 15 years ago, and I have been playing with the idea of adopting one. I think the decision is made. Gracias por la inspiración charrúa, @Truereview !

If this thread has persuaded at least one (stoned) lovable Latin bear to save a kitty, it has served its purpose!

I went to the animals shelter yesterday, but did not find my match. This coming weekend I will try again.

I like that you are looking for good chemistry!

Your kitty is out there just waiting to make you his.

Keep in mind some cats choose their owners, but some are just a little shy...

it's hard to be yourself at a shelter! :(

Try hanging out and see who comes to ya.

And remember to have fun doing this! :)

I know! I actually liked a kitty girl, but she was shy and scared. They also have a ring of foster homes. Maybe I should find the time to visit one of those.

I saw this interview with Grumpy Cat (Tarder Sauce) and her people. Anderson didn't want to put her down. Despite her Grumpy face she seems like a sweet and cuddly cat.

She is a total cutie! Other pix below. She's quite popular!
