Thank you so much for your detailed reply. A little about me - I'm a massage therapist who gets requests from clients to do escorting on the side. Part of why I've been hiring is to learn more about the biz. How do they conduct themselves in communication beforehand? What does their setup look like? How do they act when they come here? How do they dress? Etc.... I am purposefully choosing well-reviewed guys who have been in the biz a while for this very reason. We have conversations ahead of time as to what I am looking for and I haven't hired guys who didn't seem on board or gave me pause that they weren't the right guy for me. When things are "wrapping up too soon", I have given verbal and non-verbal clues. Although I appreciate your insight, I don't believe this is a "blame the victim" situation, for a lack of a better term. I'm probably one of the most experienced, communicative, methodical "newbies" you'd find.

 

My real question is "Is this normal?" From what I gather on this thread, the answer is no. Again, I'm trying to learn for future business but also what I should expect for myself. The one thing that is common is that these are all late night appointments, after I've finished with my own clients for the evening. Is there some sort of unwritten rule that late night appointments are about getting off and going home? I'm paying just as much as the client at 7 pm. Perhaps I need to hire earlier to get a better experience?

It's never been an issue. My appointments always last as long as they're supposed to. If I book for an hour, it's over in just about an hour. If I book for three, it's over in just about three hours. I love the time I spend with my guys, and, since I bill by the hour myself, I'm especially respectful of their time. It all just works.

I recently hired Rafael Carreras in DC. I am the one who looked at the clock to notice I had been there for an hour and ten minutes and let him know I would be leaving. He's a super nice guy who made me feel sexy. Definitely not a clock watcher !
